No, I'm crowning him the future in CF, not LF. He's a great defensive player. The remainder of this year, I think he splits time in all outfield positions. Probably mostly in LF. But I think he's the future in CF. Of course, I might be wrong, but that's what I think.
I think you are spot on. Almora's defense and versatility are what Maddon likes. Soler is kind of limited. Baez can play everywhere, and so can Bryant. Hell, even Scwarber could I'm sure play 3-4 positions. The point is, being able to play all over is the thing, and Almora has those tools also.
Lets just see how he hits at the big level. The one thing not in his favor is his OBP, which BB's are a part of.
