So Xander is willing to move to 3rd, but you can’t move a MI prospect to 3rd?!

I’ll smoke what you’re smoking lol
Its all depends how the bat projects. Are middle IF bats arent very powerful right now. It has nothing to do with them not playing third. If you can play SS, you can play almost any position in baseball.

The Cubs would have to convince him to move to third if he signed. Its why I dont see it happening.

Just came to say someone needed to check on you when I saw the news.

What size Guardians shirt do you wear?

Come one now. I live in Cali. Not homeless Alley

Add Sean Murphy and a couple cheap BP arms. That'd be a phenomenal offseason. @CSF77 will still be talking about how cheap they are.
I read they are prioritizing 3 bullpen arms

I did read Jed say that the winter meetings came quickly and trade talks were kinda not at the forefront walking in.

What do you think it would take/be willing to give to get Murphy?

Do you think Bellinger would sign a 2 year deal with the 2nd year being a player option?

They are gonna have to give up some major prospects for Murphy.

Bellinger has turned down multiple years already. He wants a one year deal to prove it for a big contract. He is betting on himself

No, I doubt that. They would have to give up some good ones but not top notch. The A's dont want to pay Murphy arbitration. They are moving him. Unless a team goes over board, he can be had.

I stated in another thread, but I think it would take something along the lines of Alcantara, Horton or Wicks, Brown or Ferris, and possibly one more in the Cubs 15-25 ranked prospect range. That's 2 of their top 5, another in the top 10, and then one more in the top 25.
