For you as you asked

1) rodon no full season
2) rodon not dominate at every level

Nothing like Bryant

If you still think you're right have someone in person read for you

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Toledo Rockets
For one, the Cuban FA the White Sox signed played immediately.

The Cubs' Cuban FA took almost 3 seasons to arrive.

Apples to oranges.

Solar was really, really, raw. Abreu had been a beast in Cuba and was putting up incredible numbers in Cuba.

Its still the same principle of holding back players for the extra year.

They're both doing the same thing, the only difference is Bryant was drafted last year.

But they're both being held back for the same reason.

History of the Sox says otherwise. If he's ready he's up

ok.. but you do know that over the last 40-50 years the cubs aren't the only team in town with more losing years then winning, the sox are there too..
Is that right? Since 1976 or 1966?

Besides other reasons, one would have to think that Abreu being 27 versus Soler being just 22 might have a little to do with the maturation process.

Nope, players are robots. What they do in 5 at bats is what they will do their entire career? I love the internetz!

KrisBryant said:
“I think now more than ever, I’m realizing this game is a business, and all I can do is go out there and play as hard as I can and make it really hard on the guys in charge,” Bryant said in a phone interview Tuesday. “I think I did that this year. If I’m taking that mindset, then I’m not really going to be sitting there with my head down at the end of the year.”

“It’s kind of funny, all the rules,” said Bryant. “Coming into professional baseball, I had no clue. I didn’t pay any attention to it in college, either. At the end of my first season, I kind of know the lingo about all this stuff. I guess the system works in some ways, and in some ways there are some flaws. I can’t focus on that. I’ve always been high on avoiding the distractions.”

This kid's mental approach is exceptional, and I don't mean at the plate in this case.

Empty Rhetoric and lying are two different animals. You can talk about the need to rebuild. You can discuss the needs of the team. You can talk about the end game. But you don't fabricate lies.

beckdawg, you said:

Honesty is not the key but is definitely a key in basically any walk of life - President of Operations of the Cubs to boot.

What lie was there?

Completely agree. The only issue is the management team doesn't care more about him than saving a couple of potential bucks.
Yeah. They haven't communicated anything with him, just left him guessing and have built a relationship filled with animosity toward the employer.
