Ramirez not going that low. He will be the best 3B on the market if he hits FA. i have heard if he has typical A-Ram year they will pick up his option. Rollins is OVERATED. Go get Reyes over him.

I would take a Pujols lineup anyday over a overated Rollins and avg Cuddeyer....By the Way Kazmir SUCKS.. Jackson is ok but not worth losing Pujols.

Well in that case I would take Pujols over those, but I think that's a pretty poor way to look at it. Not sure why anyone would want to sign Cuddyer, and signing Cuddyer, Rollins and Kazmir should be about half as much as Pujols as well.

Now replacing Pujols with Fielder and replacing Dewitt with Johnson makes it a little better comparison. You are only worse by about a half win as apposed to Pujols/Dewitt, but you have probably spent a good 5 million less and not handcuffed yourself so many years into the future.

There are definitely better ways to spend 32 million than on Pujols. I don't think there is much debate there.

He said he wanted to finish career in Chicago and when players say that, they might take a pay cut. We have seen that before. Also, maybe he will take a pay-cut to make team better. So some money that he would get, would go get a good ball player.

Well they have killed two perfectly good arms in mark pryor and kerry wood we signed fuckadome and that sry ass outfielder soriano then we pick up a locker room cancer milton bradley we spend money on broken down players or players that belong in a psych ward team rather then baseball team. this cubs team needs to spend the money on the good players who want to win and also they need to learn not to overplay players like they did to wood and pryor.
