Yea and it has more to do with the issues that have plagued the Cubs all year. Their pitchers are wild and their hitters are too anxious.

Actually that was a good jump by Frenchie and a decent throw by Soto, but Castro missed the tag and Frenchie had a very good slide. Life goes on.

Shark is far from great, but I don't have a problem with him in the bullpen. The problem I have is that he is the primary right handed setup guy right now. When Woody comes back and Shark is pitching in lower leverage situation I think it will be fine.

And the steal was meaningless because Franceour would have been on second anyway when Shark walked the next guy. The two walks and the wild pitch was the problem with that inning.

Yea I thought it should have been a wild pitch. A catcher shouldn't be expected to grab a ball that high and outside.

I love seeing DJ get 3 straight starts in the serie. Could we see a trade of DeWitt so the Cubs can get DJ up? I say no because DJ should be sent down to Triple A so he can player everyday and no rot on the bench.
Also, the Cubs right now plan to keep Chris Carpetner up when Wood returns...Grabow or Lopez could be gone.... One of them could be the odd man outs, I hope the Cubs trade Grabow by then for anything, just 1M save I would be satisfy lool.

Would rather have Brett Jackson. Campana is a pinch-runner/defensive replacement who needs to learn how to bunt if he's going to try to keep doing that to get on base. What good is speed if you can't even get the ball past the infield?
