Yea it's worthless that he hit it to the rightsided with a guy on first. He should have struck out like a real ballplayer, Reed Johnson.

Reed Johnson is a 4th outfielder. Real ballplayer? Let me guess as to why people think that. Because he is "grindy" "hustles" and has "fire and passion" I really hope people on here dont think he is a good ball player.

Clearly missed the point there since I was clearly sarcastic about Reed Johnson's abilities (nice 4th OF but nothing more), and Rick was stating that he felt the same way.

Never said that there wasn't. I think 90% of the entire team is worthless, I just chose to focus on DeWitt at that particular moment.

Yea I don't understand why he has drawn the wrath of so many here and in the media. Yet guys like Campana, who isn't any younger and is certainly not better, have vocal groups of people clamoring for him to get playing time.

If you've read any of my previous Cubs' posts here, you would know that its become a habitual thing for me to rip this 2011 team. Matter of fact, if I'm not mistaken, this was the first time that I've said anything about Blake DeWitt.
The only group that I'm in is the one that wants to see good money put into this team to be a World Series contender.
Anything being clamored for this season and for this team is a complete waste of breath. 2011 is lost.
