Can someone explain what this means?

"A. Ramirez homered to catcher "

I saw that on Yahoo. That's something else.

Marmol got the save, he should be the closer.

The offense still pisses me off. They had Fukudome on 3rd with 0 outs and Lee, Bradley, Ramirez up, they don't score. Next inning bases loaded 0 outs, just 1 run. That's why they don't win in the postseason.

Can we just name Marmol as the official closer now? I don't want to see Gregg close another game. Put him at setup or 7th inning. It sure is nice to see Soriano and Ramirez hitting this early in the season. Usually don't see those two get going until June. And I got my fingers crossed for Fukudome playing the entire season like he plays April.

What the hell happened to Kevin Gregg? I guess he will be the 8th inning man. He looked bad in his first few appearances.

Say that during the Dusty years and I would've laughed in your face.

Nice that we had a little change in philosophy.

5-2. Fantastic. Still hurting over those 2 tough losses, but you've got to be feeling good about this start, complete with good starting pitching and some timely hitting.

Check this out. This happened at the Mets game.

Why does it have to be a black cat only for the Cubs?

SarahSpain: Changes to Cubs lineup -- Soto back behind the plate today. Ramirez OUT again at third, so Fontenot's back at third & batting fifth

Harden had a rough outing today. Hopefully he doesn't go on the DL with a stiff shoulder now.

Re:Cubs Thread: 5-2, 1st in Central (vs Colorado)

Fontenot ruined any chance of a comeback with a terrible baserunning decision...Cubs lose on a Geo DP ball. I really thought we could of had some magic there in the 9th, but him getting thrown out at third was a momentum killer.

Alfonso Soriano just hit a two run homerun to give the Cubs an 8-7 lead over the Cardinals.
