I understand. If you wrote more about the Sox and MLB it would belong in general MLB forum, but since it was mostly Cubs you know Dewey will shit a brick so I just moved it here

It was a good article and either way since the Cubs fans seem to be more active so far it's being read. I think you're fine.

OK sounds good. The Cubs could be close to a signing. A LHRP or a non-tender player, per Jesse Rodgers (the new Cubs ESPNChicago writer).

Davis DeJesus is the Cubs CF and Cubs focuse if a RF. They came into the off-season looking for a CF, but because of the market, they made the change instead.

Theo on Soriano: They like what he has done, but Cubs are indeed shopping him. They told Soriano that and will keep him informed.

Pretty much with Carlos Marmol. As they told Marmol he's on the trade block and are looking to deal him. But also told him, they won't just give him away for nothing.

Heyman says the Cubs checked in on Yunel Escobar. Unless he's switching positions this doesn't compute for me.

After getting a clean bill of health on his hand and wrist, Ian Stewart has drawn wide interest from teams looking for third base help, tweets Bob Nightengale of USA Today. Tyler Kepner of the New York Times notes (via Twitter) that Stewart could be a fit for the Yankees.

Go through enough old film and you would probably find similar plays involving Willie Mays and Roberto Clemente ;)

The expectation is that even with Fujikawa in the mix, the Cubs will still use Carlos Marmol as the closer until he is traded or sucks, whichever comes first.
