Commenter on The Athletic seems to think Poles could get a Day 2 pick in exchange for Braxton Jones.

He certainly would have trade value if the bears draft a tackle in the first round.

There are bears fans who say he should be the swing tackle, which is crazy talk. He would request a trade if they are going to put him on the bench, and there are plenty of teams with tackles starting worse than him.

If Braxton Jones on another team and was a free agent, I believe that the Bears would go after him, hoping to get him cheaper because of some injuries. I don't think trading him is an option.

Im pretty sure he's the starting LT next year.

Bears fans just think every player on the bears is the worst in the NFL at their position.

Very few bears fans actually pay attention to other teams OL's. There is a lot of bad tackle play out there. Braxton/Wright are a solid pairing if you heavily invest into the interior. The problem this year was injuries and the center/right guard being ass.

Roschon has zero trade value, and there is no way in hell you get 1.12 for a 2nd and a 3rd.
Roschon fits into Dallas' biggest hole. Dowdle is likely gone in FA and Zeke is old. Roschon is Texas, born and bred. and just because Elberfuchup and all the genius OCs in Chicago didn't know how to use him doesn't mean he has no trade value. Hell, throw in all the later round picks to boot. If Chicago can fix their pathetic trenches with only 4 2025 picks and FAs it would be worth it.

The value of 1.12 is like 10X what you are offering.

And Dallas could get a comparable player with their 4th rounder.

Texas born or not, he averaged 2.9 YPC last year. He has zero trade value

A Guy who led the league in YPC just got traded for a late 6th rounder.

I think that Green is going to climb his way into the top 15 by April once the draft pundits starting getting more info from team scouts.
Mike Green could make a lot of money with a good showing at the Senior Bowl. He could be one of these edges who could rise to the mid-first round.

This is why I like taking Banks who can play LT/LG while keeping Jones in 2025. It gives the Bears the chance to get their best 5 offensive linemen on the field. For next season Banks plays LG and should Jones move on in 2026 Banks can then move to LT.

Dallas has 4 fifth round picks this year.
5.11
5.31 ( Comp )
5.33 ( Comp )
5.36 ( Comp )

The RB class is so deep this year that Dallas can get an equal or most likely better RB then Roschon with one of those picks. There is also a some what good chance they could use 6.12 or 6.35 ( Comp ) or 7.31 ( From KC ) or UDFA and get A "Roschon."

Roschon's lack of trade value has nothing to do with how he was used. It is because he is easy to replace with a mid to late round draft pick.

Yea im not trying to draft a guard in the top 10 unless they are quenton nelson, but i get it.

Much rather would use a 2nd on a guard like donovan jackson who has experience at both LT and guard.

I wont be upset at all if they take a tackle in the first but I'm just not impressed by either banks or campbell, dont know nothing about the guy brugler has mocked to us in the OP's post tho

Roschon is a high-effort, high-character player. He is just an average back. He has ok power, not exceptional contact balance.

His biggest flaw, however, is his lack of vision. I don’t think that’s something that can be coached. You either have it or you don’t. It’s what separates RBs, imo. Jeanty has it. Also, keep an eye on Devin Neal out of KS. Might have the best vision in the class. Reminds me of Forte is some ways.

This is a deep RB group that I don’t think taking one with one of the first three picks seems like good value, especially when you must improve the trenches. I think the 3rd round is where you might consider taking one.

I think Simmons was playing his way to being OT1, but I understand the hesitancy to draft him with the knee injury. I would definitely keep an eye on Conerly. I think he’s gonna be a riser

I wish the Bears could make this guys fantasy world into reality and have a free agency like this. He has us taking care of the entire OL in one off season with bring Kennan Allen back.

LT - Alaric Jackson (Rams)
OG - Trey Smith (Chiefs) we all know the Chiefs will figure out a way to re-sign him.
OG - Mekhi Becton (Eagles) He played really well since going to Eagles and them switching him to G. Still has injury history.
C - Drew Dalman (Falcons)
WR - Kennan Allen.

This kid is doing free agency like we have $130 mil to spend.

Would not mind taking a power back in free agency and a fast tailback in the 3rd.
