I view it as "which player would you rather have on your team"? No one in their right mind would take Hester over Mack. No GM would trade Mack for Devin Hester.

which one is more consistent......that is your winner

David Haugh's articles are atrocious, I couldn't imagine having to listen to him.

True. Its strange how Haugh was essentially the Tribune's "Bears guy", and his takes on the Bears are usually his worst sports takes.

Remember when you lost WW2 lol.
No. Unless you're like 90 I doubt you remember the 40's either.

And I'm a born American. Welcome to the global economy my guy.

My problem with Haugh and Mully is that nothing they really say or talk about is rooted in actual analysis. Sometimes it is not even rooted in fact.

I prefer Parkins and Mac, Parkins is probably the most analytical guy on the score.

I actually think that the McKnight being paired with Bernstien has moved that show to a more measured and reasonable spot. It was a little hot takish with him and Goff.

It's not just his opinions that are hard to listen too. He's got an annoying condescending sounding voice as well.

I would like him to address his "Mack should play through his injury because that is what leaders do" article.

What a total piece of garbage that was.

I really, really hated Parkins and McNeil at first. Now they're my favorite show on 670.

Mack is so much more dominant than Peppers it's incomparable. Peppers was a pro bowl player for the Bears, Mack has been playing at an all-generation level.

Peppers with Bears vs. Mack on Bears, I agree with you. But Peppers prior to Bears on Carolina was insane. Peppers would totally take over a game in his earlier days on Carolina. I would consider Peppers on Carolina with Mack on Carolina (pre Bears) on the same level. Totally destructive.

It is hard to separate what someone says for shock value vs what they really think. I choose to take people at their word and I get disappointed by their intelligence.

Sports and politics. Haugh was brought on to "rile" things up. At the end of the day a stupid thought is just stupid.

I wouldn't trade Mack for 5 Hesters.....positional value is real.

Yeah, Bernstein/Goff was the worst show I've ever heard. It was like when Mike North's show was in its death throes, and all North would talk about was what restaurant he ate at the previous night, but at least North was 'jovial'. Bernstein/Goff was like an off-the-rails political show that lasted for several hours a day.

You have the 6th pick in the draft...do you take Quenton Nelson, Khalil Mack, or Devin Hester?

The trade the Bears made giving up two first round picks is looking more lopsided by the day....Mack has taken this defense from a middle of the pack defense to top 5. The league is absolutely a passing league right now and you picked up the one thing on defense that gives QBs nightmares. Bears have put a value on Mack and I think they got him cheap....

The WSCR realignment has been really good. The entire mid-day to drive time lineup is really good now. Actually listenable.

Agree.....Bernstein is fine as long as you have a sanity anchor attached to him....Parkins and Mac is probably the best show on the score right now.

I wonder if they paired Bernstein with Goff on purpose, in hopes that Bernstein would quit and WSCR could stop paying/overpaying him. It doesn't make much sense otherwise. IIRC, Goff had been fired from his Atlanta job and had been unemployed for awhile, then WSCR bizarrely picked him up off the scrap heap and gave him the hosting spot alongside Bernstein.

Yeah now he's doing shitty podcasts I think and he's taking the tone of "this is what I've wanted to do all along...I'm happy"...while sounding like a bitter asshole.

I'm shocked Holmes is still employed. He's an abomination. Julie DiCaro is actually really good late-night. She needs Holmes' spot.

He torched WSCR on his way out. Goff reminds me of people in my office...shitty at their job, leave, given a 'second chance' for no logical reason, continue to do a shitty job, then when you are replaced you sound off about "not being given a chance" and things being "unfair".

I never really understood Goff's 'marketability' during his lengthy WSCR tenure.

LOL at Holmes...on top of everything else, he even sounds terrible.

Bernstein and Goff made me turn the dial to ESPN from 670 for the first time in 5 years.

I'm not a huge basketball fan and that was all they talked about outside of politics. Dan trying to be a "brother" was cringeworthy as well.
