So I guess if we are keeping score on atrocities, then we have:

Otters - 2

Humans - Eleventy Billion

hehehehe

OMG! This post is PRICELESS---how in the world you managed to find a pic of an otter sticking it's tongue out at humanity is almost too much.

Mule - would I be able to get some sort of special correspondent status in this thread? It would really ease my mind about continually inserting myself into your show.

SAMESIES! Everyone is doing bright orange this summer... I like that you are not.

I have some suggestions based on your GRAY love... I'm sure you know them.

OPI - you don't know jacques

essie - glamour purse

Also - I haven't tried essie's sew psyched yet, but I'm curious. OPI's french quarter for your thoughts looks nice too.

I'm all for special beauty correspondents. Samesies, you are in! And I like your suggestions. And essie sew psyched is lovely. Grayish green. Super pretty.

I had orange toes last summer and enjoyed them, but right now I'm undecided myself. I have some OPI Kiss Me on My Tulips and it's very pink, but it'll be time for a change soon.

I had my brows waxed today, because my usual woman who does threading is getting married this week and she's got a lot of shit to do because she's Indian and those weddings require days worth of stamina. I still prefer threading, but the wax was solid, although brows are a bit thinner than I like. She's not used to my full brows, this gal.

Update ladies! I shall soon be trading this summer's gray and heading straight to a completely different end of the color spectrum! The other day I was by happenstance directed to a hella serious nail polish blog which in turn led to a link to an Etsy store for supposedly quite glorious and highly recommended nail polishes. And they were glorious! I have never thought to see if polish was sold on Etsy---the only beauty shit I have tried have been things like Dreamsicle lip balm and wasabi soap so this whole polish arena came as a surprise to me!

^ That is 101% lovely funkiness no? I just HAD to. It's so goddamn emerald-y!

The good thing is she sells 5 ml as well as normal 15 ml bottles so I decided to try the former in a no harm, no foul move today. Of course, in order to duplicate the pic according to the make I will have to apply a black base coat first but if I can achieve ^THAT as a final result then it'll be worth it. I suspect it will arrive maybe in this upcoming weekend's mail.

ETA: Yes, I realize this post is 100% otter free but I feel strongly that nail polish for ones toes is important too.

I have done better with more of a chartreuse. Although the sparkle seems to help. I will be in Cananananananada ina month and a half kicking Pikes ass, and probably, hopefully, running into some 18" Smallys too.

Mmmmm... waffles.

Dear Muley,

What is your favorite recipe for waffles? I make them every Sunday and want to do something different, but easy.

Lovely books! You could do an accent nail with a different sparkly color.

But this is only for ma toes!

Eh, I cut my fingernails down every week. Actually, even with the chop down my nail beds are basically similar to that pic in that they are long and start far down in my fingers so if I were to polish them it gives the illusion of length. Still, though I love some of her orange (<especially!) and teal colors too I am ultimately too, too lazy a human being by far.

I wish everyone could be there. It is very beautiful. Our family has owned the property for 30 years and it's so lovely there. We do have lots of room. I love living near mountains and water. There are no bass in that lake. Not many bass in southeastern BC either. Lots of trout, dolly vardens and sturgeons.

No one is allowed to catch otters though. Even if they attack an athlete.

My best friend is from Saskatchewan and she sometimes misses the prairie landscape and driving for hours with nothing but the horizon in sight.
Sounds like an invitation to an IHN road trip party to me.
