I would argue most college kids in that situation are not prepared to handle that without the advice of an adult with more life experience.

You could tell he started going off before really even thinking about what he was saying. He was wrong multiple times. Oklahoma gets cold despite his claims that it doesn’t really. Caleb is from DC so he’s obviously used to cold weather. Colorado gets cold. If anything playing in warm weather full time was the outlier for Caleb. He’s from the north and until he got to USC he played cold weather football his whole life. Then he starts talking about his son and not wanting him to play for a cold weather team. Your son plays at Colorado Deion. You’re the coach. Then he realizes how ridiculous he sounds and tries to lie and say Colorado doesn’t get cold until later in the winter. Complete nonsense. Colorado gets cold early just like any state in that region. It was truly baffling how dumb and full of shit he came across.
