Not for conversation or debate, but to seek out some attention you obviously didn't get as a child. You are the only one posting on these forums I see pining for awards. Its sad...you need to get it together. Looking at how you write on these forums, I can tell you didn't get a lot of recognition in school.

Ive read the debate here. Clearly its back and forth. I have to say that this man deserves every accolade that comes his way. Rodman was the greatest rebounder in my mind and one of the greatest defenders at his position. I had the privilege of not only seeing him play in person in San Antonio but also seeing him at the United Center. If it wasnt for Rodman, the 72 game season would not have happened and the second three peat would have never happened. Bulls we so weak at rebounding and defense at the 4 and rolled the dice and traded Will Purdue for Rodman. To say that this man isnt great, shouldnt have his jersey retired at the United Center and to say hes not a Hall a Famer (Boers and Bernsteins dumbass) then you dont know the difference between your ass and a hole in the ground. Yeah he was crazy, played dirty, dressed funny, and had just a weird personality. It doesnt take away the fact that he will always be one of the greatest Power Forwards to ever play the game period.

Lol thank you. Ive never understood the Rodman hating. Most people from what i have seen bash the guy because of his wild and unpredictable personality. He was a prick yes, most athletes are. Barkley hated on Rodman because he was always beating out Chuck in Rebounds. Like i said before, u take away Rodman from the second three peat, then the Bulls lose. Not only did he fill the void for rebounding, he also got into players heads and got them off their game. Totally messed with his opponents, loved watching him play all those years even when he was on the spurs and pistons, had both jerseys from San Antonio and Chicago. He belongs in the Hall, END OF STORY.

I always enjoyed Dennis Rodman too.....I even rooted for Dennis when he got into a mini fight with Stacey King...I guess I'm an asshole now for saying that...

He belongs in the HOF. He worked as hard as anyone in nba history. HE was the best rebounder ever. I still dont know how he defended guys like Shaq and Karl Malone. He could have scored more, too. Like he said in his speech last night, he didnt play hoops for money. I really couldnt care less about his off the court antics. He was easily one of the best basketball players i have ever seen.

Dennis also overcame more adversities than most athletes had to go through and still came out on top..He worked his way out the hood and for I have the upmost respect.
.He was hated growing up and he kept his head up..A man of many trials and tribulations...5 championships and I actually enjoy the haters hating on him now that he's in the hall of fame..He made it, and the haters didn't......whats next for Rodman??
Hopefully his jersey retired with the best orginization he ever played for...The Chicago Bulls.....:bow:
