Dye on disc now...

Pics tomorrow.

I think I am on to something here, just have to see what I need to tweak after my 1st attempt.

But oh, I feel this is going to be nice. (as well as have a nice grape smell)

Have dye sitting on white plastic now, tomorrow I will rinse it, peel off the circle I masked in the center, and add more color(s).

The pic above doesn't really do justice to the true brightness of the colors and how they POP.

I should try to get a few with my camera rather than my phone.

Dammit! Some assholes stole my basket from my yard last night while I was 60 feet away in the garage!

I sprinted diagonally across my block and caught them turning a corner but I didn't have anything to throw through their window and they lacked the honor declined my very loud, very rude, and very very profane invitation to fight.

No I didn't see a plate number, it was dark and I was just coming out of a block long balls out sprint. (turns out I am still pretty damn fast sometimes)

I was actually planning on ordering a new basket really soon anyway. I wouldn't give a shit if I had planned on throwing it away, but my friend offered me $30 for it. That money was supposed to go to my new basket.

I got so so look at the truck, someone in same truck steals stuff from a coworkers yard. Small town, I may run into them some day.

I can throw a pretty good punch and then run like motherfucker after if I have to. I was willing to get my ass kicked last night if need be.

Foolish, dishonorable thieves should be ashamed of themselves.

after.....

This one was the super bright hair dye colors I got mixed with shaving cream.

The pink turned out fine but the bright blue is barely even there.

I can and likely will add more color to it later.

Now here we go to where I finally got it right:

That was with a more standard dye in red & orange.

The dye was actually laid out in a zig zag pattern, but the disc settles in the shaving cream bed it sits on and seems to push dye mix to outside.

Those look good. I have a set I bought at Sports Authority, but I like the colors on yours better.

Too bad your basket got stolen that kind of shit pisses me off. I don't know if I would have given chase though.

The tornado in Moore, OK went right thru the middle of a course that is a year old like ours.

We had bad floods in April, but our course is ok now.

More dyes!

Pretty much my go to driver. 150 gram for my skinny noodle arm.

I get a nice hyzer flip or turnover with it.

The blue is actually black dye. Then red and yellow. I think my black mix is too diluted.

Now here I think is my best work yet.

The picture doesn't do justice.

I mostly drive right hand / backhand but as natural lefty I have always used FH flick shot. Does awesome things for me on approach shots. I figured I would give it a go for my drives as well.

Seems to be okay for now. I am getting more distance, now if I can shape driving lines and work on form a bit better.

Love my Vibram Summit!!! Flips from hyzer to flat on me with good snap FH or BH approach shots. Love love LOVE it for throwing LH FH at about 10 o'clock with good snap. Watch it rise to apex, turn right, then glide down holding right turn. BEAUTIFUL!

No one else discing!?

Is Winos5's arm still fucked up?

My game is coming along a LITTLE bit.

Been working on the FH drives some, had a nice near ace (shanked putt, doh!) with FH flex shot.

It is a tight hole, but pretty short, 213 ft I think. It was one of my best drives on our course for me but I know there is another 50-75 feet I can throw if I can just figure it out.

Still been using my turbo putt (lefty). I have found if I look off to the left and up just a bit I get more than I miss in my range. I forget to do it on the course too often though. If I can take away some of the shanked putts and hit what I should I can take 2 off a round most of the time.

On another good note, 2 of my friend's girlfriends played for 1st time and had fun. More pretty women playing disc golf is good. Now they invite their less crazy friends and all is well.

Look out, trees! Here I come!

No it took a year for my elbow to completely heal though. My kid is absorbed in fastpitch softball now and she pitches nearly everyday instead of frisbee. We mix in the frisbee once in a while just to break things up and have fun.

Yes, Yes and Yes. Don't get me started or I'll write paragraphs about her pitching.
