Does anyone feel Trubisky was starting to turn it around at the end last year.

Yes, he did begin to actually run it a bit toward the end there. Dude played with a sling on for most of the season and shitty shitty blocking (2.37 seconds to pressure). Definitely didn't run much after coming back from the L shoulder injury. He looked better in the pocket and scrambling on the eye test at least. Less quick feet & panic early throwaways or checkdowns. None of this matters if he can't make some magic happen this season though.

Saw mention of Drew Brees. Ever hear about this crazy HOF goofball named Terry Bradshaw!!? Had 5 seasons of shitty play & losing before steamrolling teams later in his career. NFL = "Not For Long" now.

Mitch is only 3 years in, 2 if you scratch that garbage pile of a rookie playpen with Fox. Similarly with Bradshaw, Steelers had a great defense and he had competition to beat to be lead QB. Mitch gonna have to earn it but has never approached Terry Bradshaw bad. Just interesting is all.

"Just interesting is all"

lmfao

bears should have just kept Cutler. He was gon come around any day. amirite?

remember the first snap of the season when rex returned? the very first snap our own LT let Shawn Merriman run by untouched only to deliver a bone jarring hit to REX's jaw/helmet for a sack and did his crackhead juice up dance, no flag. rex was seeing stars no doubt and was slow to get up..that shit sticks with you especially after a knee surgery.
Mitch protection isnt even close to the protection/GUYS Rex had.

this just in: football requires toughness

i'll be damned

Great comparison!
Really?

Terry “terrible” Bradshaw is one of the most overrated players of all time. He was bad and won because the greatest franchise defensive era’s of all time.

And if that's the case with Mitch then I'll take a defensive dominance with watching the Bears win Super Bowls which is why its a great comparison.

I'll tell you whats wrong with trubisky...

He lacks confidence. You can have all the talent in the world, but when your mind aint right, you ain't right on the field.

That boy got a broked brane.

It's not a shocker that whenever he starts a game out good with a nice drive he usually continues on having a nice game. If he starts a game out poor, the kid usually shits the bed.

I haven't seen too many QB's like that in my lifetime. It's like the kids got the opposite of the cutler gene.

Is your mind right?
Because I think you are very wrong here. Poor take on things.

No just you.
To be fair, there were about 5-6 really football dumb posters who believed the same. I wish I could remember the ones who insisted that Mitch turned the corner and he would get the 5th year option and eventually a contract extension.

Scored over 21 points in 2 of 8 games. Some people are simply delusional. Glad you put this up. Numbers never lie.

What makes this thread even more amusing is that one year later Bears fans fell for it again after Mitch faced the Jaguars and Texans.
