Theyve gone at it at times in the past where Rose come away yelling something. Then last night, I noticed after he hit a shot leading to a Miami timeout, he seemed to go out of his way to run right in front of Wade.

Did anyone notice this?

I'm totally just guessing here but I remember during free agency the Bulls had a chance of landing 2 of the big 3. They were trying to deal Deng to free up more cap space. I wonder if Rose thinks (or heard through a 3rd party) that Wade was saying bad things about him or the Bulls organization in an effort to get James and Bosh in Miami.

Or maybe he was just sending Wade a message: "I don't need Lebron and Chris to win an NBA Championship. You do!"

Wade definitely said some bad things about Reinsdorf and the Bulls. That is why I kind of lost a bit of respect for him, though he is a great player. Wade's attacks on the organization were unnecessary and unfounded. It was just sad.

Is there proof of Wade talking smack about the Bulls org? Can't just make claims like that.

Wade did clearly and matter-of-factly take a jab at the Bulls, questioning their "loyalty"...and claiming Miami was "very loyal"...something about michael not being here (b/c he left) and Scottie not being here (even tho he is)...and neglected to mention cartright coaching, stacey king announcing and all kinds of other hypocricy...Wade just appeared to be a dumbass through his statements...I lost pretty much all respect for him. He learned his tactics from his boss, pat riley, he's also a major low-level ******.

**** Wade, **** Lebitch, **** Riley, **** Miami.

Chris Bosh looks ***. I don't have any proof...just throwing that out there...

GO Bulls, beat the shit out of this team.

Yes there is proof of this. Wade spoke in the media about how management broke up the dynasty and how it affected him and his view of the Bulls.

Amazing what a quick Google search will pull up

Wade questions Bulls' loyalty

One of NBA's top free agents wonders why Jordan, Pippen no longer part of organization
May 27, 2010|By Fred Mitchell, Tribune reporter

Perception can turn into harsh reality, and the Bulls' image as unfriendly to former stars could adversely affect the team's ability to land a premier free agent.

The Cavaliers' LeBron James, the Heat's Dwyane Wade and the Hawks' Joe Johnson plan to discuss their respective plans with each other before making a decision once free agency begins July 1, Wade told the Tribune on Wednesday.

And when the Bulls come up in the conversation, talk won't necessarily focus on Derrick Rose.

"I think the biggest question that you think about has to be loyalty," said Wade, a Richards grad who added he has been a Bulls fan for a long time. "I know one thing about Miami: It is a very loyal organization. I see what they do with their players when their players get done with the game of basketball … how loyal they are. I don't know about the Bulls."

Wade said it appears to him that the Bulls don't measure up to the Heat in the loyalty department.

"I see Michael Jordan is not there, Scottie Pippen is not there. … You know, these guys are not a part," Wade said. "Things like that. So that is probably one of the biggest things for me, because I am a very loyal person."

Bulls general manager Gar Forman insists top coaches and free agents will clamor to join the organization. And Bulls officials in the past have downplayed perceptions that the organization has a loyalty problem.

And even though the physical clash between John Paxson and former coach Vinny Del Negro did not help the team's image, Wade said the choice of the Bulls' next coach would not be a factor.

"I don't necessarily get into all the coaches stuff," Wade said. "I feel the coach is only as good as his players. There are some great, great coaches around who can squeeze a lot of life out of their players, like Jerry Sloan. Every year he proves that."

Wade said he's not sure when the top free agents will discuss their respective plans, though they have spoken informally in the past.

"(Free agency) has been three years coming," Wade said. "We've discussed it prematurely, at different times. (But) you don't know what guys are thinking and where they're going. I think we'll all sit down, and before one of us makes a decision, all of us will have spoken to each other and (listened to the) thinking.

"A lot of decisions (will be based on) what other players are willing to do and what other guys want to do. So it's not just a 'me' situation here. We all have to look and see what each other is thinking."

Wade said he wouldn't have a problem playing alongside another great player.

"I understand that you have to have a great team, a great supporting cast around you. That's all I want," he said. "My ego is not that big. … I just want to win."

And here's the Bulls response that same day

Bulls GM defends loyalty to ex-players

ESPNChicago.com

CHICAGO -- Chicago Bulls general manager Gar Forman emphasized that he wasn't addressing Dwyane Wade specifically, but Forman took issue with anyone who questions the Bulls' loyalty to former players.

ESPNChicago.com Bulls blog

Wade was quoted in the Chicago Tribune questioning the Bulls' loyalty because players like Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen are no longer associated with the organization. Wade told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel that his quotes were "taken out of proportion," and that he wasn't taking a shot at the Bulls.

"Anyone who would question our loyalty is obviously misinformed," Forman told ESPNChicago.com. "I think it absolutely ignores our record, which speaks for itself.

"We have a number of ex-players that are -- and have been -- employed within our organization within a variety of capacities, ranging from the front office to the coaching staff, in our business office, as part of our broadcasting teams. We take great pride in not only how we treat our current players, but also in how we treat our former players."

John Paxson, Bill Cartwright, Randy Brown, Bill Wennington, Stacey King, Pete Myers and B.J. Armstrong are some of the former players who have been employed by the Bulls in roles with the front office, coaching or broadcasting.

Wade said he'll be talking with other top free agents, including LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Joe Johnson before the market opens on July 1.

"What I read and what I hear the players say is that winning is the most important thing," Forman said. "And we believe, like I've said before, with our talented young nucleus of players and the flexibility that we've created to add to that core that we're set up to have great success here for many years to come."

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Minnesota United FC
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
I think it's the other way around. Wade doesn't care for Rose.

Rose doesn't need to hate Wade. He's got us fans to do that for him, :p.

My memory could be fuzzy but I'm pretty sure Wade already has a ring with neither of those two's help.

Yeah he does. He only had Shaq, Zo, GP, Antoine Walker, Haslem, James Posey, and other good players.

Ok?

Zo was a shell of his former self that season same with Payton. Wade lead that team in points, assists, and steals.

Antoine was on the downside of his career. Haslem is "a guy", Posey at the time and still today is a nice defender and not much else.

What's your point? The Heat were a good team with A budding super star, a "starting to slide superstar" with Shaq and solid role players? Is this a shock? Wade was one of the best players in the league that year. To somehow downgrade the accomplishment of that championship because a championship team had other good players on it is asinine. I don't see anyone nitpicking Boston's recent runs to a title and the Finals.

Championship teams are going to generally have a super star and some pretty darn good players around him. Not sure why Wade's 2006 title should be viewed in a different light.
