I load up the broadcast and see if they are saying anything about that.

Unfortunately the broadcast is from the Memphis side so there has been no mention of why Jackson is in there, and I doubt I will get one. I will leave the game up and listen to see if they give any updates.

The announcers mentioned that Lopez had to leave the game after 1 pitch thrown, but that is all they said about it. Injury would be the only thing that makes sense though.

Marmol pitches the 6th and gives up a walk and a double, with two groundouts and a strikeout. Memphis leads 1-0. T-7

Still sucks :troll:

RT @IowaCubs Brett Jackson with a RBI sac fly and ties the game at 1. B-7.

Atleast he knows how to make contact with runner at 3rd and less then 2 outs

Concepcion allows two runs on two hits and a walk (and two wild pitches) in the 2nd inning. Chiefs down 2-0 mid 2.

This deal looks worse every time he pitches

Oh boy, Greg Hopkins just crushed his 2nd homer of the game off Concepcion. Hopkins also has a double. 3-3, 6 rbi. 8-1 Wisconsin.

i saw him pitch 1 time and was not impressed at all.

His stuff was never rated that highly. He was supposed to have an advanced feel on his pitches. Given the time off it wouldn't be suprising if he is still finding that feel, but I agree that it is nervous since he has to stick at the big league level in three seasons.

They should probably put him in extended spring training for some seasoning before throwing him into Peoria again.
