Depends on what he does. The Hawks win a couple more cups before he retires, maybe they do.

Toews, Kane, Keith, Seabrook, are all locks IMO. Sharp and Hossa, it depends, but it can happen although I doubt it.

Hossa shouldn't have his number retired by any of the teams he has played for in my opinion. Criteria for number retirement has become too passive. Unless you are someone who has substantially changed the game at the position you play or have broken or have come close to breaking substantial league or team records I don't believe a number should be retired. Def can honor the number but retire it? No way. This coming from a guy who thinks Larmer should be retired and I am now even questioning that idea believe it or not.

First ballot hall of famer though easily.

Keiths number will be retired by the end of it all. and no he will not have to thank Seabrook either.

Does anyone know how to read?

"I DOUBT IT"

What if Sharp scores 40-50 goals a year for another 4 seasons? Sprinkle a few 30-35 goal years? Hawks win some Cups? He scores a game winner or two in game 7's?

Always a possibility. But I doubt it.

Seabrook will not have his jersey retired unless he makes the HHOF.

Sharp will never has his jersey retired.

When Doug Wilson and Steve Larmer get there numbers retired than some of today's players can begin discussion.

Winning Stanley Cups does not mean automatic to the raftors.

I can agree with this.

But I can't see any Hawk breaking any records. Maybe Kane, Toews, and Keith have the best chance, but damn. Mikita and Hull really demolished those numbers.

I think if you changed the course of the team you played for substantially, playing at a high level, and given you played with that team longer than you did any other team you may have played with before, yeah that team should retire your number. I think Kane, Toews, Keith all would qualify for that. I think Hossa will as well at the end of it. He'll most likely end up playing here the longest out of all the other teams he played with. Team scoring records or NHL scoring records are a tough sell to me as criteria because some of those were set in completely different eras, where it's just not possible to attain those today.

Somewhere (didn't watch the awards) he "thanked" his "best friend" for everything. Which he mentioned was Seabrook. I think I saw it on Twitter, Mark Lazerus maybe?

It's nice that we can get an update on Guest_RK's feelings from time to time.

I know we all miss that.

When they are split up, it's painfully obvious who makes who better between the two of them.
