Stats need to be looked at in context. Trubisky could throw for 3000 yards again, but still be much improved.

Anthony Miller could have 1000 yards or he couldn’t have 600 mostly on 3rd down and in the red zone and I would be happier with the later.

I just needed some fresh air to clear my head and get all re-centered with my universe. It was a jarring afternoon, but already a pleasant evening. Upon catching up with this gem of a thread...I am strangely happy that, in the end, looks like we have a budding E-Friendship between @dabears70 and @Hampton fingers.

Just warms my heart when this site continues to do so much good for such a diverse group of Chicago Sports Fans.

Pretty much sums it up. The five pages that followed took me a back, but I hope it was a cathartic experience for all. The next two months or so are pretty much an NFL wasteland...so it's good we are getting these things off of our E-Chests before there is real football discussion to be had.

Really the problem is I try too often to have genuine "fresh starts" with the OP where I just keep it football plain and simple. It never seems to be a permanent solution, but it has had positive results in the past.
