Do you have a legitimate source which indicates he's losing the locker room?

If Sean Peyton returns and makes himself available the bears need to get in on the sweepstakes.

I mean…I’d love Peyton but doesn’t Flus have like 3 more years on his deal? I don’t see ownership eating the contract and then making Peyton one of, if not the highest paid HC in the NFL

New TV deal kicks in 2023. Bears can absorb it easy.

Besides look at the nfl coach salaries. Less you in the upper tier it's easily thrown under the rug. A guy like Vrabel from the Titans is listed to earn just 3 million in 2021. Eberflus a first time headcoach can't be earning much higher . . .

Yeah sorry I don't have an hour to listen to that. But losing sucks; I get it. It must suck to be in that locker room right now, but even Don Shula wouldn't have been able to get a lot out of this team. We have a GM that gutted the cabinet and brought in a coach that didn't just come in with a new defensive scheme by switching to a 4-3, they switched to a one-gap 4-3 which they generally play with undersized defensive lineman. The front-office elected to upgrade the secondary, which needed upgrading, but by changing the defensive scheme it immediately escalated the defensive line to crisis point as well.

At the same time the front-office did very little to upgrade the offense. So yeah, many people predicted this defense would be bad, and it is. And of course, whenever you're relying on your secondary to make all the tackles because your undersized defensive line is getting mauled or can't contain, your secondary is going to be injured a lot.

It will take two complete offseasons for this team to be in the top 5 on defense and on offense again.

Until Poles traded away the best players on D, the Bears were actually competitive. If that could have stayed in place while Justin Fields had his come to Jesus moment, I have no doubt that Flus could be a winning coach this season. But, being a winning coach doesn't fit into the tank and rebuild plan of Poles, obviously. He was hired to be the captain of a ship that was destined to have it's sails torn to shreds and have cannon balls shot into it's hull by the owner of the ship so that it will sink and insurance money can be collected to buy a new ship.

Bamboozling will simply be known as being "Flus'd" instead of fleeced from now on and for Eber more.

They probably have a better chance bringing Ditka back.

$$$$ talks. If some team is paying Sean McVey 18 million to headcoach their team. Am sure another team will up it to 20 million for Peyton

I didn't realize NFL headcoach pay grades differed so much, WOW! Vrabel getting 3 million per season vs McVey at 18 million

If the Bears want to pay Sean Payton 20 million and a blowjob on wednesdays, it’s not my business. I would take him as he is a damn good coach.

We had a Walterfootball 1-16 projection thread at the start of the season.

Think a lot of people predicted a disaster of a season.

It's just hard to actually go through it.
Hence the problem. I think the Pats win had people here thinking this team arrived. It was the Bears SB this year. After that, it was going to be all downhill. Still more suckage to go thru and more shitty articles to see get posted by the “writers” on this board. The crappy NFC teams that are winning—Vikings, Giants, Seahawks specifically, are looking at much rougher seasons next year.

You see alot more 'injuries' on losing teams, especially tanking ones.
If you're winning and playing for a playoff spot and a chance at the big game, you'll play through some pain. But not for this shit.
