Every Fields sack against Green Bay, for the “geniuses” that are saying that he “held onto the ball to long”

Time to throw is from the snap, until the defender first contacts Fields, in the process of the sack.

You can see the time stamps on the fucking video, in case you’re confused about how long a second is.

Sack at 0:39, low snap, Fields has to drop his eyes, and bend over to prevent a fumble, by the time he gets upright again, the pass rush is already in top of him. Tries to step up, and Van Ness sheds his man and sacks Fields from behind.

Sack 2:50, sacked in less than 2 seconds

Sack at 4:53, sacked in less than 2 seconds

Sack at 4:45, gets hit in less than 2 seconds, breaks free and tries to step up, interior has already broken down, leaving no pocket for him to step up into, and gets sacked immediately .

Sack at 10:35, gets sacked in less than 2 seconds.

Is less than 2 seconds to throw, considered good pass protection?

All sacks came with Fields trying to “tHrOw FrOm ThE pOcKeT”

It doesn’t matter if it’s Williams, or Tom Fucking Brady. With this offensive line, and the play calls, any QB is going to fail.

Watching EVERY SINGLE FUCKING SACK and I can’t put a single one on Fields for “hOlDiNg On To ThE bAlL tOo LoNg”.

Terrible.
Did you see Love complete the pass when we sent an extra guy and he had about 1.5 seconds?

It's possible to get the ball out of one's hands before 2 seconds.

But you gotta process what's going on very quickly.

Same old excuses and this is 3 years later. It has already been proven over his career that he holds the ball longer than any other QB in the league.

Why can’t you just accept that he’s not very good? It’s been 3 years of this

Jordan love has less talent around him, had played only 1 year and he lit up the Bears and made Fields QB play look amateur

FYI. Fields and Love play out of the same system too.
So you think that Williams could operate in this offense, and behind a line, blocking like this?

If the Bears take Williams, and don’t address the play calling and offensive line, you are going to be sorely disappointed.

Not interior rush when they are at full speed . It’s difficult to avoid and keep eyes downfield. Plus GB had good pocket discipline for stopping Fields to move out of pocket.
Maybe try watching a team with a good QB sometimes.

This is a straw man because literally no one is suggesting this

And you have to have a receiver breaking open in 1.5 seconds.

LaFlueur has checks into blitz beaters worked into his offense. Getsy does not.

Like Hurts or Lawerence today? They looked like shit as well. How about Mahones in SB against TB. He looked great as well with no protection. GTFO. Love has a great Oline. That’s the difference. Saying Love is a great QB?

I'd probably save some weed that way.
But, I've been waiting my whole life for the day when weed would be legal, so I'll just stick with the Bears so I can consume mass quantities

Look I’m not absolving the OL or Getsy or the WR’s or anyone else on the team.

What I refuse to do is give Fields a free pass like a large portion of this fan base does. You want to criticize…. Criticize ALL of it. Poles too.
Free pass?

When people criticize anything but Fields they get called apologists.

This team stinks to holy hell. All of it. Take that any way you see fit.

You can say whatever you want about Fields, but there is no denying that our offensive line got manhandled
They weren't playing anything close to winning football.

The OL was bad, but you have to pick up those blitzes. Who is the "hot route." Also where is the scheming for the rush?

So a dude that averaged 9 and a quarter yards per attempt, and completed 69% of his passes, when he wasn’t getting beat to death, “supported” by starting running back that gained a whopping 28 yards on 12 carries, and the more physical back only getting 5 carries all game. Oh, and with an OC that does not call a pass play, for an entire quarter, even though his running backs aren’t getting it done.

So **** Fields. But where does Caleb have a chance to succeed here? Football is a game of situations. In the situation today, where does Caleb fair better?
