Re:
The system works by having two teams go head to head for a week. During that week, they calculate for each stat. Points, rebounds, assists, etc. I believe there are 8 stats. Each stat represents a game, your team's points, rebounds, assists, etc. So for each category you win, you get a win and you get a loss for every category your opponent wins. Ties go to the home team.
So when you draft, it is important to find players that have some efficiency in as many areas as possible. For example, while Shaq should help a lot with rebounds and even points, he will hurt you a lot in free throw percentage.
Lineup changes are locked by the time of your first game of the day.
Roster changes are locked by the time of the first league game of the day.
Make as many trades as you want until 2/17/2010, but if 4 owners veto the trade, it won't happen, (I love this rule!!!)
Player goes through waivers for two days, where you are on the waiver list changes according to your record, best record is last on waivers list, worst is first on the list.
The regular season will cover the first 18 weeks of the NBA season, Week 19 starts the playoffs.
The two division winners will have byes, seeds 3-6 will be decided strictly by record. I have already placed the divisions using Random.org (love this site...)
Remaining teams will be involved in a consolation ladder tournament, and we will decide how to handle the draft next year (according to record, consolation ladder results, etc).
Any questions, put them on this particular thread.
I would suggest to all of you that you make this thread a favorite, because I will use this thread to interact with everyone, along with the fantasy site of course. But this can be a meeting place for everybody.
Again, ask any questions,
WE NEED 1 MORE TEAM!
