I've been drinking a lot of Honker's Ale lately. That and 312 are my favorite Goose Island varieties.

Anyone who says Stella is a douche bag. Stella tastes the same as any AMERICAN light beer and is about twice as much money. I told a bar tender to pour a pitcher of bud light for these douches who were drinking Stella. When they came back the douche asked her if they had just changed the keg because the last pitcher was better then the first few.

Anyways, I have different beers for different moods. If I am chilling I love Sam Adams seasonal or Liny. If I am pounding I want something cheap and light, so Keystone Light is my preference.

Ehh, Stella tastes a little skunkier than Bud Light and stuff, but I'll agree that's its not toooo much different. Is it better? IMO, yes. Is it worth the money? Nah. I'd prefer something with some flavor.

Stella Artois is good, but definitely not worth the price.

Thank you sir. Speaking of Tigers, has anyone here had Tiger beer? My Laotian buddy gets it from time to time. It's pretty good. I think it's from Singapore.

Actually, most of the Asian beers I've tried have been pretty good. Sapporo, Ichiban, Tiger, Singha...I think that's it. My aforementioned friend's family had a Thai restaurant and they were going to get Beer Lao (which his dad insisted was the best beer ever) but they sold the restaurant before they did.

Agreed on the Sam Adams. I like a lot of the different Sam Adams styles. Boston Lager, Summer Ale, Noble Pils, Oktoberfest....well shit I could go on and on.

To those in and around the Chicago metro area, try Goose Island Honker's Ale.

Goose Island

I mentioned it a page or so back, but I've got some in the fridge right now.

As far as getting Goose Island, stores around here usually carry Honker's Ale, 312, and maybe one other variety. They usually have a sampler pack, too.

I'm in Western IL.

Whatever my friends have in their fridge. I'm kind of an asshole like that.

Yeungling gets my vote though. great with some Sushi...or doritos or anything. Im a simple guy, not really into the craft and mico brews. My brother is a beer enthusiast though. Trying to figure out the notes in the beers, different temperatures for specific ones and all of that crap. I think beer was meant to have one flavor, beer flavor. Just watch a game or hang out and bbq, chug the shit down and chill.
