Love classic Cholula on over-easy eggs laid on top of some shredded hash browns.
Cholula is overpriced and played out.Cholula is red unless you get the green kind. It also has stuff like cumin in it. It's a great sauce for mexican dishes but I am not a fan of it for things like wings or pizza because of the cumin. Just my preference but I'm not trying to turn basic American food into some sort of fusion dish by adding hot sauce.
I don't use the red cholula on anything but mexican dishes and maybe tex mex dishes. Hope that answers your questions.I read this several times. I am not sure if you answered my questions.
I understand Cholula is red. But Nvan, mentioned picking up some green. When I go to Chipotle, I dump tobasco brand green sauce. If Cholula green is better, I will walk in my local Chipotle a bit taller with my personal green Cholula in my pocket.
But you are right. I don't use green for anything else really. Maybe other tex/Mex meals but thats about all it is good for.
I like Jalopenos on my burger but would never dump green sauce on it either.
It didn't.I don't use the red cholula on anything but mexican dishes and maybe tex mex dishes. Hope that answers your questions.
Which questions did it not answer? It didn't.
Which questions did it not answer?
I was never asking how the red cholula tastes.Which questions did it not answer?
You gonna tell us which ones or keep them all a secret?Cholula is overpriced and played out.
There are better sauces out there for way less money.
Oh sorry I must have missed that. I have not had it but would think that it tastes much like the green tobasco sauce and differently from the red cholula sauce. Hope this helps.I was never asking how the red cholula tastes.
I was asking if the GREEN cholula is comparable to tobasco brand green sauce.

Poor has nothing to do with it. Cholula raised their prices for no reason. How poor are you exactly? You can get a 5oz bottle of Cholula for less than $4.
El Yucateco habanero sauceYou gonna tell us which ones or keep them all a secret?
It had been awhile since I've had Tabasco Green. But from what I can remember, there is a lot more flavor in Cholula Green. I really like it a lot, but could be hotter. There is a bit of heat to it, just not as much as I'd like to make it near perfect. You should take out a second mortgage on your house to pick up a bottle and try it.I was never asking how the red cholula tastes.

I wish I would have paid attention to this sooner.Cholula green pepper.... good stuff
El Yucateco habanero sauce
Tapatio
Valentina extra hot
Guacamaya hot sauce (this is a newer one that's sitting next to tapatio at a lot of Mexican joints these days. Less than a buck for a good sized bottle at the Mexican grocer)
Our just grow some peppers and make your own...
That their hot sauce is pathetic and their solution for hotter was Tabasco. Not sure what you mean
Ummm. OkayThat their hot sauce is pathetic and their solution for hotter was Tabasco.
