So who do the Hogs call up to replace Smith ? Also I'm guessing Mark McNeill will be there as soon as his season ends.Maybe they'll try him in Smiths spot instead.

Did he regress this year? Heard in some other places he had.

Didn't see him coming up to the big leagues anytime this year (or next year, really), but part of me hopes he can be a potential future replacement for Sharp in 4-5 years or so.

Morin just doesn't bring it everynight. Same issue with Shawn Lalonde.

I also hope to see Saad, and/or McNeil sign ATO's to participate in the playoffs

No. McNeill is ineligible for AHL.

Would like to see S.Johns signed to one of those and if there's another one left sign McNeill when his season ends. note..Notre Dame was eliminated sat. so John's is now available

Do you think he's ready to quit college?

The Chicago Blackhawks have agreed to terms with forward Terry Broadhurst, a native of Orland Park, on a two-year contract.

Broadhurst, 23, served as team captain during his junior season at the University of Nebraska-Omaha this year, establishing career-bests in goals (16), assists (20) and points (36) in 38 games. He ranked second on the club in goals and points, and shared sixth in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association with a team-high seven power-play goals.

In three seasons with the Mavericks, Broadhurst recorded 40 goals, including 15 power-play markers and seven game-winning goals, and 50 assists in 110 collegiate tilts. The Orland Park, Illinois native, whose younger brother Alex was the Blackhawks’ seventh-round selection (199th overall) in the 2011 National Hockey League Entry Draft, was named to the All-WCHA Academic Team each of the last two years.

McNeill joining rockford this week

Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk

Awesome news, can't wait to see how he does.

I've personally gone back and forth on what type of player I think McNeill will be in the NHL (if he makes it of course). Should be nice to see him against some tougher competition and playing against men instead of boys.

Should help and he should get top 6 minutes. Only 6 points out of the playoffs and the team is playing much better

Do you think they will put McNeill on the wing?

Really hoping they put him at center right away where he is going to have the most value going forward.
