Former Jets scout calls Caleb Williams the most mentally weak prospect he's ever seen - says he's closer to Johnny Manziel than Patrick Mahomes

You can say all your rationalization about CW crying to his mommy.
One thing for certain, opposing defenses are gonna bring that up every time he plays. ******* will tell you to go cry to your mama even when you didn't on national TV. This is going to be a whole new shit talking situation.

And what a better way to tell them to STFU by beating them on the field?

But from a psychological perspective, the smack talk that gets to you is the kind that has some truth behind it. People can give you crap about stuff that is absolutely not true, and you can laugh it off. But, the things that are true that you're insecure about or affect you negatively, just hit harder.

The kid's gonna have to be psychologically tough.

I'm sure he's heard plenty about painted nails. Dont think he would care honestly. He comes off as non-chalant that way

A strong, loving family is an asset to any team that drafts him. Crying after a game isn't a sign of weakness. Chris Jones cries before games when the national anthem is played. In reality, I think that clip shows composure. He had those emotions and was able discipline himself during the game so that they did not affect his play.

You see your mother, who knows you and empathizes with you, in an emotional moment and it is tough not to break down.
Uhm, a tear here and there is one thing. Ugly crying, to the point that it goes beyond sobs, into hyper-ventilation, is another.

There is a specific mentality that one needs, when they are trying to dominate other men-especially men who are at the apex of physicality. That ain’t it…

We are not talking about building camaraderie with your co-workers, around the water cooler/in a cubicle farm/break room.

We are talking about modern day gladiators…We are talking about giants among men.

The type of men, that he will be expected to lead, respond to strength, and deplore weakness.

This is football bro. Not Gladiators fighting to the death

Him crying shows he gave a fuck and cared. Who gives a shit. I know plenty of you have cried, who hasn't.

It’s a contest of mentality, and physicality, of the highest order. “I know plenty of you have cried, who hasn’t”…it’s not about the average person, and he they may, or may not act, you’re talking about a physical and mental game, of which anything less than the pinnacle of strength, speed, agility, mental toughness, coordination, and a specific gene, will result in failure.

Well, except for the gene part, which lacking it means that you can have all the other things in spades, and still will never be able to compete in professional football, or any other professional sport that requires athleticism, or speed, or power…even professional golf.

We are talking about the highest of the high, of human specimens…not an accountant, or engineer, etc. It’s different. Different physically, different mentally. You can’t compare how Joe Blow rando would tend to react to something, to how a professional athlete should react to something.

I'm sure none of his teammates will give a shit. Really making something out of nothing

Can you imagine him going up against Gardner-Johnson?

Was Brady hyperventilating? Caleb’s crying was a terrible example.

So now we're going off the severity of the crying lol

Bro, none of his teammates are going to not do their job because he cried in college

It has nothing to do with other players doing their job, or not. It is about other players seeing him as a leader of men, that can stay strong, win or lose.

So is Tom Brady not a leader of men? Why is he crying at all?

So 2 basketball players, and who is the first dude, is he a quarterback?

Quarterbacks are just looked at as different.

Were you kidding here or did you seriously not know who the fuck Tom Brady is?

Seriously, the fucking mullet threw me. When did Tom Brady sport a mullet? Shit, I'd be crying too if I had that hairstyle...

So, I looked it up, and it was Tom reminiscing on how hard it was waiting until the 6th round to be drafted. Apparently this was from an espn show in 2011.

So, completely different venue, not during or after a football game, not when he has the QB expectations on him, but for a television show asking him to reminisce about a hard moment in his life.

Context fucking matters guys - you can't just pull random people crying out of your ass and say its the same.

Show me a time where Tom cried or flat sobbed after a loss while he had the pads on.
