Just left my cop and he said today was a great tribute. It was so crowded that he got home 4 hours later than he expected. So Proud of him. Any of you that don't like cops can suck it. I"m sorry about that. Long day. People feel however you want just don't hurt anybody. I'm pretty tired so this should be fun tomorrow

Was warming up on a stationary bike at the gym this AM, looked out the window and there was an undercover pig wasting our tax $$ issuing traffic citations.
Little wonder why cops always hang out with/marry other cops...nobody else will have them.

Saw where Boston area cops boycotted Obama's Labor Day speech and their leader said that Obama HAS BLOOD ON HIS HANDS. Nice. Potus has yet to talk up support for the rank and file police officers. A lot of cops across the country are typically Democratic voters. Expect a whole lot of them and their friends and family are going to vote democrat in the upcoming election.

This is premeditated. The misconception is that the premeditation has to occur a certain time before. However, the premeditation can be mere seconds before. As long as criminal decides I want to kill this cop and then acts on that, arguably, have the state of mind of a premeditated killing. Having said that, I think the instances the hawk is talking about are all premeditated

You do realize that being a citizen of the United states provides even criminals with certain fundamental rights. Including, the rights to:
1) due process;
2) be free from warrantless searches and seizures;
3) refuse to quarter troops;
4) the right to a jury trial; and
5) the right to face your accusser.
You may have fought in Vietnam but you don't seem to have a clue as to what rights you were trying to uphold when doing so.

For me, the girl is younger, helpless and more important for that reason but cops need this sort of response for their own ans our long term well being. If you make it easy to waste an officer of the law, things can go to shit quickly and we lose more little girls. Cops put themselves at risk and when they're shot, it's no accident. The girl is a greater tragedy in terms of the life lost but shooting a cop is a breakdown of society. We should all feel safer knowing cops are off limits, even the asshole ones. Getting even especially when it's the wrong guy gets us nothing but more grief. Need to address corruption within the system.

If you are talking a straight up ambush like in Vegas, or the guy in texas, yes.
People like that are so far gone that they are a danger to everyone.
However, anyone who premeditates a murder and carries it out is far more dangerous in my opinion than someone who in the process of running from the police fires at and kills an officer.
One is the premeditated elimination of someone. the other is a panic response of someone doing everything they can to escape justice and remain a free person.
