Shut up if you didn't play in the pros. Different game guy....

Lol, just kidding. Interior pressure doesn't collapse the outside like he said. But to his point, interior pressure can wreak havoc without the stats to necessarily show that. It leads to a lot of unscripted adjustments from the offense during any given play. Which is important like you said with stepping up, throwing comfortably, and such.
Agree but a good pass rusher is probably going to have more than 9.5 sacks in 8 years. He's a clogger, not a penetrator.

so what exactly did Poles mean by living in the gray? and doing right by Justin?

Not a media person but the actual GM. If you think the Bears didn't have discussions on Fields, I have a bridge to sell you. They clearly set a price too high and teams balked. Now he looks like a moron

Or he set a price too high because he never had a real interest in trading him

Or he’s just been listening to offers and hasn’t “set” any price

Or asked for a fair (2nd or 3rd round pick) price but teams don’t even wanna give that up.

Too many variables. At the end of the day, none of us know shit.

Then just take the L and trade him. He isn’t because this guy is so robotic his weakness is reading the room. He has to check all his Caleb boxes and because he didn’t get that visit yet he can’t be 100% sure so he sat on his hands. It does make sense if you think about how Poles is, which is borderline autistic.

Lol no way. There's just no way this could happen. We'd be the laughing stock of the NFL for years. Mahomes? Pass. Stroud? Pass. Caleb Williams? Please not again, say it ain't so.

posters are so emotionally challenged on this board.
Poles will select CW.
Fields will get traded for a day 3 pick in the next few weeks.
pretty simple.

I don't disagree with that. There may be outliers in that from time to time. Not saying he is one as I don't know too much about him personally. BIT I tend to agree.

I will be upset if they don't choose on of the top 3 QB's. If they somehow think Maye or Daniels are just as good as Caleb then I guess I am ok trading to two. I don't know how they would feel that way though. Probably just trying to raise the value of Fields.

Does anyone except the Bears front office and league GMs really know that nobody wanted Fields?

I do not think we know if Poles was even willing to trade him and if so we have no idea what Poles was asking for.
Maybe he was demanding a first round pick? Does anyone really think any of the media knows for certain?
Yes....the CCS experts know.
