Signing a guy who has had 23 yards since he's been with the Bears seems pretty desperate to me lol. Dobbins would have been a nice addition but with only 90k it kinda limits our options lol

I called it fb would be a major move this season. If they had more than 90k in cap they probably would have got that dude the 49ers cut. But homer is good as long as not the lead back. Either way just remember I called it

I've been trying to say since we first signed him that the guy does actually have talent and is a good pass catcher and a really good special teams player but he just can't stay healthy, shyt he was hurt a few times for us last year alone and that's with barely playing.

This article overcomplicates things. All extensions report the years of the extension and the money for the extension.Apparently they will rip up the old contract and replace it with this one. The Texans picked up Stingley's 5th year option and thus he is under control for 5 years ie 2 years of his rookie deal and 3 years of the extension.
So the precedent is set that top CBs get 30m AAV in new money.
