If they signed all 3 then i'm not even sure i'm going OL with either of the first two picks, i'm going DE, DT and with the 3rd it's out of OL, S, RB or WR.

Imagine those three signings, Mason Graham, and Sawyer or Princely?

I'd rip my dick off

I love Sawyer and would love to get him at #39 but you give me him and M.Graham and i'm a happy man. Even if Graham doesn't drop this is a strong DT draft so we could come away with two starters at DE and 3T/DT.

Why are they going to sign a 35 year old guard?
Because Smith may not sign with the Bears. He knows Johnson’s offense. He would help solidify the RG spot for a few years while they build the other spots on the OL with younger players. His play hasn’t shown any signs of deteriorating. I think he has played better football than Trey Smith the past few seasons.

I'll take Hufanga over Brisker. I love Brisker but he's due an extension with Kyler Gordon and i just can't see putting big money into Brisker with his health issues. Missing almost half the season from a concussion is brutal.
My guess, and could be wrong, is that the Bear held Brisker out of the last 5 games to try and heal completely as opposed to just passing protocol. Concussions are brain bruises and these guys return when asymptomatic in testing but long before the bruise actually heals. It's why you often see them go down again in the same season and contributes to long term issues like CTE even if they don't have another official concussion. I'd wager that Brisker could have returned after the Thanksgiving game but the season was over, team in disarray and there was more to gain by sitting out. He now has a better chance of a concussion free season in 2025.

What troubles me and about last year's staff is that after the head to head hit that took out the larger opposing player and Brisker slow to get up, the staff didn't send him over to the tent for evaluation and he continued to play. Decisions like that are what takes a guy out for 1/2 a season.
