Just another log on the fire.....

Currently the Illinois state income tax is 3% and Florida's is 0. Im not big on math but that appears to be about 1.5 mill over the 3 year deal. Not a huge deal for a guy like James but for the other guys it could be. If I were the Bulls brass, I'd bring some assurances that endorsement deals were in the bank to cover the difference in tax dollars.

In the mod forum planning your ban
1) Miami can't sign all three players unless two are willing to take a pay cut

2) Beasley would have to be traded. Every team in the NBA knows that and won't trade for him unless they are DUMB

3) 3 HUGE EGO's will not coexist on the same team

4) Miami would have one of the worse benches in the league and unless the starting five plans on playing every minute of every game forget about this.

5) Miami STILL does not have a true Center and Bosh knows that they will probably try to convert him into one which he'll suck at.

6) Even though it's Miami there Fan base is Terrible. Theym disappear when the team sucks and even when the team is good it's pretty damn easy to get tickets because there are no true Miami fans

Uhh...have you ever heard of the Bulls of the 90's?

Let's just take a look at the first 3-peat team: Jordan, Pippen and Stacey King certainly found a way to work things out, and King wasn't even that big of a contributor but still had a gigantic ego.

Tell that to Pierce, Garnett and Allen.

Not to make things sound worse but on Espn where the updates on scores come up, it says sources say the Heat are the Front Runners for Lebron.

you know what? f*ck Miami and f*ck Wade.
i am having an EXTREMELY hard time believing that these three would co-exist.
if LeBron just hops on board because Wade is there, than he can forget about his legacy... why would he got to a place where he is not even the most well-loved man on his team?
if LeBron hops here, though, he can prove that he doesn't need TWO other superstars to win championships, and can actually build his legacy.
f*ck Wade and f*ck the Heat.

Like I said in the other thread, Broussard said that LeBron never committed to Miami because he's still attracted to Chicago. And if he joins Chicago, Bosh goes with him. Its a home run or bust.

I don't think Bron, Bosh and Wade in Miami will be so great. To me it will be messed up.

On the flip side it was reported Wade was in Chicago on Saturday night at the White Sox game.

I don't think Stern will allow them to take less money with so many teams being able to offer max money...it'll mess up the competitive balance, and Stern won't have games that don't matter early in the season.

On top of that, Stern really wants LBJ to go to Chicago or NY.

Wade was in Chicago on Saturday night.

From MLB.com:

http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp...11622218&vkey=notebook_mlb&fext=.jsp&c_id=mlb
Third to first
Ron Howard, the famous actor and director, threw out one of the first pitches prior to Saturday's 3-2 White Sox victory over the Cubs. Steve Nash, Dwyane Wade and Scottie Pippen were some of the other celebrities in attendance. ... Recently-traded Blackhawk standout Dustin Byfuglien received a rousing standing ovation when he was announced and shown in attendance on the center-field Jumbotron late in Saturday's game. Byfuglien acknowledged the support and held up his Stanley Cup champions hat. ... Carlos Quentin was hit by a pitch twice in a game for the fourth time in his career.

So did they meet Sudnay morning/afternoon in Miami for brunch or something?

Stern has no control over this. He can't tell players how much money to take and he can't control where they go. There are no rules set forth that give the Commish veto power over where free agents want to sign.

I just don't think he'll allow it to happen.

But, I didn't know there were absolutely no restrictions on it...so thanks for the tidbit.
