I was out of the dating game long before FB came around, but I thought it was pretty common for people to check out each other on there before they ever got serious.

How did your friend get to the point of dating this girl exclusively without ever finding out she had a FB account? Is it under a fake name or something?

It also seems odd that it's even possible for women to pretend they don't have FB accounts, going by how much it's mentioned in passing gossip/conversation. Don't they have any mutual friends? You'd think the guy would find out immediately.

That's an interesting claim. Does it mean a woman is not worth it if she isn't into porn, or she isn't worth it if you have to resort to porn? Can the same be said about a girl needing to hide her FB page?

I could understand if you rather watch porn then bang her it could be a problem, but the odds of you ever banging a porn star is like 99% not happening. Your girl sucking some dude's dick because she is hiding a facebook is a lot more likely in my book.

It's a lot more likely. The only thing I can think of is that she had a very "protective" BF at some point who stalked her on Facebook. It isn't a reason to lie about it, but maybe she just doesn't like being friends with love interests on FB. That said, it is likely she has something on the side.

It's not about her status, it's about her pretending she doesn't even have a FB account. Why would someone lie to their partner about that? There are only a few reasons I can think of, and they all point to /relationship.

So one of my good friends apparently found out that his girlfriend had a Facebook account eventhough she had told him multiple times that she didn't have one. On top of that, her page said she was single eventhough they were suppose to be in an exclusive relationship.

Personally, I would ditch her. Not for having a FB account or flirting, but for lying. There are several reasons a girl may choose to lie in this situation, and none of them are good as far as having a relationship with her is concerned. Any good relationship needs to be built on trust, and if one partner needs to lie to the other about having a freaking FB account, what chance does he have of getting the truth from her in real genuine serious matters that will arise in the future?

If it's a **** buddy, who cares? If it's an exclusive relationship, he should dump her.

To each his own I suppose. I lie to women all the fucking time about shit I don't think matters because I just don't want to deal with the drama. If I go to a club and some chic dances with me, do you think I go home and tell my girl that yeah some chic danced with me if she asks. **** no. Is it because I am hiding some deep dark secret? No, it's because having to deal with all the stupid fucking questions about a simple dance in a club that means nothing is a waste of fucking time.

Maybe all you guys are different and tell your girl every fucking thing but knowing how I am with dumb shit like this I don't give a **** if a girl figures it isn't worth the drama. This idea that in a relationship I need to be open and honest about everything is fucking stupid to me. If it's important, I will let you know. If it isn't I won't. I expect her to have the common sense to do the same. And if she is stupid enough to not know the difference between what is important and what isn't and I find out about it then she gets kicked to the curb.
