Didn't walder say edmure was back in his cell? Wasn't quite sure what went on there but either way don't the lannisters run the twins?

-- tapatalkin'!

The do but if Edmure is released and I doubt Arya did that the most powerful force would be the Tully's in that area.

Those last two episodes of GoT were something fucking else. They rivaled the battle at the Wall and the Blackwater episodes. I was so pissed at how the previous 8 episodes had played out and they reeled my ass back in with those last two episodes this season.

I think that his story is a nice diversion. I wonder if his old man is going to come after him to get back his family sword. That scene at the dinner table with his family was a very good one. Like I said, I think that he will have an important part of next season and his research will turn out to be key to Jon's battle with the white walkers. I think also that Uncle Ben will become a major character next season.

A question that I have involves old lady Stoneheart. Do they bring her back? If they do, she could conceivably be a force in turning Sansa to the dark side against Jon Snow. How about this for a story twist. Sansa turns to the dark side after interactions with her mommy dearest. Then Sam makes his discovery confirming who was really Jon's old man(we really don't know right now) but we know that it wasn't Ned. After finding this out, both Stoneheart and Sansa, return to the side of goodness and love for Jon and maybe Sansa marries Jon who with his aunt MOD unite the Targarians and the Starks against the white walkers.

Doesn't look like the show will bring in Lady Stoneheart. Her vengeful role will be taken over by Arya. I didn't think that Arya had learned such mega skills as a faceless assassin so was surprised with the way she did in the Freys. Sure there's more of that stuff to come. She's also sure to hear of the new King of the North and go to reunite with him and her sister.

Don't think Sansa needs any additional help turning to the dark side. She's been married to the likes of Joffrey Baratheon and Ramsay Bolton. Don't think she'll actually turn on Jon but LF will make a big enough wedge between them. I also don't know how Starks feel about marrying first cousins but regardless of that I don't see those 2 marrying under any circumstance. The only thing needed to bring the Starks and Targaryens together for the final war against the monsters is Jon, himself. Half Stark, Half Targaryen.

I don't think the TOJ thing with Bran was as big a reveal as it was made out to be. Got nothing more than the very basic that was long suspected, Lyanna in a bed of her own blood having given birth to Jon... if that's even his real name. Still didn't spell it all out. No say of the father or marital status. Just Lyanna telling Ned about 20 times to promise her and him looking all dumbfounded.

Wonder what Jamie is going to do when he finds out that his son is dead and what Cerseit did? Jamie has shown signs of being an honorable knight. He is going to be torn I think between good and evil. I still think that Cersei will be done in by Arya the now assassin:)

The Tully's should now be released with Frey's death and Edmure reunited with his wife and child. Edmure should be bound to House Stark who will need every sword possible for their fight against the white walkers.

Except that the lannisters control riverrun. Why would they let the tullys run to lannister enemies?

I think arya already figures too much in the overall story just simply to be folded in with another character. I think lady stoneheart either shows up in her own right next season or is just not gonna be in it at all

In regards to Cersei, she was told her little brother would be her undoing....which most thought that meant Tyrion but Jamie is also her little brother by mere minutes....

In the show, they made no mention in that episode with Maggy about the valonqar. She just left off with telling Cersei she would outlive all her children. Might have done that purposely intending to go a different direction with how she dies.

Jaime hasn't been much of a father or uncle for that matter to any of their kids. Just saw him have that one moment with Myrcella right before she died.

Is it bad watching that scene I thought "Jaime might fuck his daughter here...."

I think Sam is boring. His story line immensely boring. I think the plethora of characters, outside the 3 families this is all focused on, are boring. Sam will never be anything but Jon's fat friend. It's all about the Starks, Targaryens, Lannisters and, most importantly, the one of ice and fire who has the blood of 2 of those families.

Sam will always be a major player in both the books and the HBO series.

Why?

Because GRR Martin, in multiple interviews, refers to Sam as basically being a written version of himself, placed in the series.

He may kill everyone else, but do you really think he would kill himself off? Not damn likely.

Walder's eldest son Stevron is still alive. Idk where he is but alive nonetheless. Plus the Lanisters still control the riverlands. So unless Arya releases Edmund (which I doubt she did) idk what will happen to him. Perhaps Jon will come seize the Twins and restore Edmund so he can a.) have the Tully's and b.) hold the bridge that cost Rob his life. Although Jon will be fighting a different war and may not value the bridge.

But… can the Lanisters even afford to protect the Twins anymore? The Lanisters are a bit beat up. They've been in a lot of battles semi-recently and are broke. They also know they've got Dany and her dragons coming soon. Plus Cersei just dissolved their strongest ally when she blew up the Tyrells. So the Lannisters are basically fucked. Their enemy list now contains Dorne, Tyrells, Starks, and of course Dany. Three of those houses are allied now and if Dany brings the Starks on board with the rest then the Lanisters will be getting fucked in every direction. Oh yeah I almost forgot… Tywin was borrowing money from the Iron Bank… hmmm they're fuuuuucked!!!

I'd love to see the Lanisters completely wiped out and Tyrion given back his birth right by Dany and take his place at Casterly Rock. It's what he's wanted since after the Battle of the Blackwater.

There's a great site for GOT info really helps you link all the moving parts and learn the back stories.

I still like this, it's like google earth for GoT: http://quartermaester.info/

That is outstanding!

Two notes:
1. It's not Slavers Bay anymore.
2. In the South you could cross the Narrow Sea in a canoe by island hopping.

Daenerys can see Westeros from her back yard.

Now I'll play with that fucking map for an hour.

I just read that Howland Reed who was with Ned at the tower or joy is the lone survivor who knows that Jon is Lyanna's son. I'm sure he knows Jon is Rhaegar's son since she was put there protected by king's guard by Rhaegar. I wonder if he'll figure in somehow.

Also R+L=J is confirmed at least on the wiki site and the only the question left is if Jon is legitimate or a bastard. The Targaryens were rulers so polygamy may've been ok with them… I mean incest was fine with them.

Also apparently Jon's real name isn't actually Jon. It was something Targaryen sounding and Ned changed it.

You guys remember that whole "The North remembers" thing from last season?

I feel like The North has selective Alzheimers and The Vale remembered.
