Who fights an army with greater numbers in an open field and sends their Calvary running into the night with no idea of the opposing army's position? When Winterfell is a perfectly defensible stronghold?

Then when the undead are climbing the walls and bunched together, these dummies have no concept of attacking them with fire while on the walls? SMH. Worst tactics in history when you trying to defend a fortress.

It seems there must be a fucking Mary Sue in everything these days, and Arya is GoT's...such worn out tired bullshit. Pretty intense episode though, hard to see though due to it being so dark.

Dany, Jon, Bran Davos, Tyrion, Sansa, Vary's, Gilly, Little Sam still alive.

Brienne, the Hound, Greyworm, Jamie I think still alive

Gendry, Tormund, Sam, not sure

Ed, Lady Mormont, Jorah, confirmed dead.

Mel? The faceless man prepping Arya all along??

Remember when I asked what do the faceless men have to do with all this? They are very prominent in the book not just training Arya. We knew they were valerian but never knew who they serve the lord of light or death

Me too. Did not see a single leak/spoiler that saw anything like that coming. Then the whole Azor Ahai thing they did with Mel. Crazy.

What do we say when death comes for us?
Funny thing is, when you look back, you go....oh yeah....

Yeah think Dany's dragon alive and Jon's was taken out but didn't show it dead so suspect just badly wounded somewhere.

Well, Sending the Dothraki in like that was kinda pointless I'll admit, I was like wtf are they doing? Much better to use them to flank from the rear after the dead had came in. the wall stuff I can live with.

But Mel? That was crazy as shit. Nobody thought that. I was waiting for the faceless man to show up and say something Arya would have recalled that came from Syrio or Jaqen. But I would have guessed every character on the show before Mel.

Not sure Dany's dragons died. Maybe just injured.
Drogo was very much alive, when dany was crying over Jorah, he landed by her and shielded her. Are we sure Rhageon died though?

Not really. I'm pretty shocked. Would have thought a scenerio would have faceless man in a prominent role but not Mel. And the blue eyes thing. Maybe should have known but everything was calling for a loss at Winterfell and this war going on for 2 or 3 episodes.

Looked like he was injured and that's why Jon crash landed. Did not see him actually die.

It really was. Pretty basic strategy to use your infantry to hold the enemy and then let the cavalry flank them.

They set fire to the trenches so seems really dumb to not have fire ready as they climb the walls as basic tactic to try and withstand a siege.

Can someone black and white this whole Mel and Arya thing? Dumb it down for me. I’m confused. The eye color stuff, how is Mel azhor? Reading comments and they’re not connecting.
