I just got done saying it's time for Toews and or Hossa to seal the deal and Hossa gives the puck away....

Keith gave the puck away twice and his guy passed the puck to a wide open Calamari for their only goal in regulation.

What the **** happened to that guy? From Calder to horrible all in less than a year?

That's exactly why Q was blowing a gasget at the end of the game. NEVER touched his skate, and the ref 15ft away makes no call yet the guy 50ft away makes it? Are you kidding me.

Once again officiating plays a part or changes the outcome of an EXCELLENT hockey game.

No I was hoping Price would knock Subans shoulder out of socket. Pretty fucked they didn't win the Cup.... Well 1993, maybe it feels like it...

Subban plays hard and is a damn good player... he just has similar traits to Crosby that just makes him an unlikable guy.

He hooked and held Toews all night. The best was his holding Toews stick between his legs for at least 15 seconds, in front of BOTH Refs, no call.

Yea and you could tell at least on 3 occasions Toews was fed the **** up with it... but if Subban is getting away with it, why would he stop? Like I said he's going to have world class talent in a couple years but he's going to be completely unlikable unless you're a Habs fan.

Can't have whitey keeping the black man down....then again that does not explain the goaltender interference call on Kopecky.

Seriously though, with all that was allowed to be gotten away with for the entire game, and for both teams, there is that call on Toews. And a penalty that really was not a major effect on the play...well other than Subban acting like a soccer player to get the call.

In any case, I am not going to blame the refs, just scratch my head and wonder. Crawford was spectaular tonight, and the 'Hawks go their chances. Now if they would consider simplifying as a first option when the razzle-dazzle is not going to work there might have been a different result.

At least it was an entertaining game and 1 point gained. A win and 1 point over the next 3 games ensures that Dallas cannot pass the 'Hawks if Dallas wins their last 3. If tonight's energy is there tomorrow, I expect a win.

In Keiths defense on the offensive end of the game

Maybe if some of the forwards (besides 3 guys) would start driving to the net or finishing their fucking chances or actually making the right play with the puck down low there wouldn't be a need for him to try and take 30 shots on net a game. We are relying far to heavily on offensive chances from our blueliners because the forwards aren't able to do jack shit with the puck.

That means Bickell (who has just gone downhill), Frolik (who couldn't hit the side of a barn), Stalberg (why even talk about this guy?), Kopecky (invisible again), Brouwer (don't have to worry about him anymore though...too fucking bad), Kruger (he can have a break seeing he is being pushed into a position he is def not ready for), Dowell (yah 4th liner but he hasn't added anything I couldn't find on Craigs list), Pisani (yawn), Johnson (I am going to take heat from RK for this cause I am eating crow a little but I would take this guy as our 4th line center over any of the other options..but not 3rd line!!!), who am I missing?

Anyways Toews/Kane and Hossa can not carry the load. It's fucking impossible for these guys to have great games every night. And yes I am well aware that Sharp/Bolland are huge loses that impact every other player out there. But come one!! Someone up front fucking score more than once every 7 games!!

As far as Keiths defensive game? Yah its sucked something bad this year. There really is no excuse for how bad it has been. Its been BAD.

I thought it was one of the most entertaining games so far this year. Unfortunately it was ruined in Overtime for absolutely no reason.

None.

And the Call on Kopecky was just another example.

Subban could have just as easily been called for holding on that play. He definitely impeded Toews getting to that puck. That tripping call was a joke. And the goalie interference on Kopy. What the hell. Are the refs blind. That could have really screwed the Hawks.

I think Toews may have pushed his front skate - but waiting 10 fucking seconds to call that is pathetic. Crawdaddy got lit up intentionally and no call - and Kopecky gets pushed and Price goes down like he got shot is fucking lame call too.

Price was outstanding. How many redirects he stopped in the third was amazing. Both goalies played very well.

Keith is killing me. Its insane how now I cringe when he's on the ice. If its not giveaways its horrible shot selection (wide open on the point and no one near price on the PP). Or he cant catch a fucking pass in the NZ.

Kane was on fire. Ever since people were calling Toews for MVP...he's gone cold. Maybe he needs to yell at himself in the mirror.

I think its on Frolik (2g last 48gms), Stalberg (1g last 9gms), Bickell(1g last 11gms),Brouwer(not anymore, but 0g in 22gms) , Dowell (1g last 38gms - who's been pathetic/a waste, IMO)....one of those 4 need to get some goals in bunches. It's crunch time for them to step up these next 3 games.

PMX Toews is playing hurt.

And the PP that was stopped four times the #1 unit should have had the entire PP. NO way were they gassed and had it going on.

I'm sure alot of guys in the lineup across the NHL are at this point. I think if you're in the lineup...youre healthy. It's gotta be that way from here on out.

Personally, I think he, Kane, and Hoss have been emptying the tank...time for others to hit that gear. Someone else needs to step up.

Isn't that scary? One would think thats 6 points sitting right there for Dallas.

Honestly. Tomorrow. Hawks better play like its game 7 of the Stanley cup. Not that they didn't put a decent effort in tonight...but it's gotta be better. Like you said PMX those guys you mentioned have to start playing over their heads.

P.S. I would like to see Campbell unload his rocket a little bit more. If we are going to look for offense from the blueline Brian too has to step up. He took a great shot tonight that hit the post. I miss seeing him unleash like that.

Well aware he isn't 100% though. Still think he and Campoli are a great pairing but one of those guys has to contribute on the offensive end. That's Campbells game..not Campolis.

That Ducks finish to the season could also make things interesting for both the 'Hawks and/or Dallas.

Bettman has to be blowing a load at how the West race is most likely going to the last game of the season for 3 teams.

Well you guys can gripe all you want, at least we got beat by a NUMBER ONE GOALIE.

For real though, sucks Brouwer got hurt but not sure his play will be missed too much. He was finally in front of the net on the Kane goal. But he's been MIA as of late. Guess when guys like Buff, Steeg and Ladd leave I expected him to step up much bigger. If the injury is how it looked I hope we call up Morin, nothing like a rookie playing over his head and throwing up big numbers when the team needs it. Like the guy who won the game for the Habs tonight possibly?

P.S. Stu: Beach isn't getting called up.

Yah esp with the injuries to LA they looked like a team that is ready to be beaten down the other night. Ducks have it pretty easy to be honest. Sharks will be tough tomorrow but LA? The way the Ducks top line has been going and the way the Kings now look. Hard time thinking its not 4 point min for the Ducks. Quick will have to steal a game against them..which he is capable of.

I am still very positive but the Hawks dug themselves a little bit of a hole. St Louis are not walk overs right now. They are scoring in bunches. Detroit is neeeeeeeeeever an easy game. And having to play them 2 times with the beat up roster we have? I am a bit nervous again. Confident...but with some nerves
