It's called marketing. :dealwithit:
it's called "not having a fucking clue what you're talking about"

i've already showed why boozer isn't attractive

has more to do with those reasons than his "reputation"

funny you haven't responded to it

and LMFAO at Kevin Love being a future GOAT PF when he can't even play good defense or has a low-post move.

the defense is much more of an issue than this

he's an elite nba scorer..he could stand to get a little more diverse in the post, but it's not really an issue

1. Deng
2. Brewer.
3. Noah
4. Taj
5. Rose
6. Hinrich
7. Butler
8. Asik

My order would be 1. Deng, 2. Gibson, 3. Noah, 4. Brewer, 5. Asik, 6. Hinrich, 7. Rose .... but I know that wasn't your point.

Boozer is a more effective defender than Korver, Lucas, or Scalabrine for what that's worth.

The point is that you can't go say anyone is the GOAT PF when they don't even have a post-move to speak of. And Love simply plays little-to-no defense. And I would still take him over Boozer defensively.

Boozer was #2 last year in the defensive ratings and #7 in 2010-11 season. And no it's not because Noah always guarded the best player and he was guarding the worse. He just had a very good season.

uh,yes that's part of it

it's also because noah helps when boozer has trouble with his man or gives up an opportunity to his man

and as said, boozer isn't even a top 5 defender on the team

i guess.....it would depend more on how the rest of his career pans out in other aspects

I responded. I told you that there are many worse players and many players with those reasons that can make them unattractive BUT teams are willing to trade for them. I also told you that he is not the worse defender on the planet JUST BECAUSE ramithebullsfan and some guys here say this.

He was #2 in defensive rating this year.

Guys #1-#2 in NBA defensive rating:

Garnett,Howard,Duncan,B.Wallace,Camby,Robinson,Pippen,Alonzo,Shaq,Ewing,Kemp

.....bbbbuuuut bbbuuuut these ratings mean nothing because Boozer..you know Boozer...ehhh, it has Boozer at #2...

It sounds like some stubborn kids who don't want to admit that they were wrong in something and they will agree that the NBA defensive rating is useless and stupid just only a guy they didn't like is high in the ratings.

You obviously have no idea how defensive rating is calculated. And I'm not sure if you have ever watched the Bulls play in your life because you posted that .gif of Amare and Boozer does EXACTLY that about 10 time per game.

In other news, Tyson Chandler is by far the best offensive player in the NBA.

No comment here. Just take a look at the defensive rating lists. Everyone there the last 40 years was/is a great defender. BUT Boozer He is there because of Noah! lol

I don't get it. He is not the best. He is good. Definitely one of the most effective offensive players in the league. But what's the point of this?

And Deng who leads the NBA in minutes. And Asik (who is the other guy Boozer plays next to). Boozer also almost is never in the game at the same time as Korver. Or when the game is close and on the line (Thibs elects to have Taj in).

It looks like it is time for you to look at the list of players who led the NBA in offensive rating last season.

yay for strawman....no one said he was the worst defender on the planet..but it is commonly known that boozer is a terrible defender

that's cool

lamar odom has been #4...the system isn't perfect

also, it's not a coincidence boozer didn't have a defensive rating under 102 or so until he started playing with noah

The Bulls had a regular season defensive rating of 98.9 when Boozer was on the floor. When he was off? 89.7
Most of the worst defensive lineups for the Bulls included Boozer
Boozer's opponent PER at power forward was a robust 17.3. I will admit this number was much lower when Boozer was at center (12.7), but he did not play the five very often
Boozer gave up 0.88 points per play overall, good for 280th in the NBA.
Boozer gave up 0.85 points per play in isolation, good for 208th in the NBA.
Boozer gave up 1.06 points per play in post-ups, good for 255th in the NBA.
It shall be noted that Boozer was 63rd and 48th in defending pick-and-rolls and spot-ups, respectively. So there were some situations where he was not an abomination
It sounds like some stubborn kids who don't want to admit that they were wrong in something and they will agree that the NBA defensive rating is useless and stupid just only a guy they didn't like is high in the ratings.
uh..the system is flawed

i have multiple stats showing contradictory evidence

have you watched boozer play defense

do you understand how defensive rating works?

and also, why do so many people think boozer's D sucks? are they all stupid?

Yeah. I just figured it out. Good list. I didn't expect Chandler to be so high to tell you the truth but no surprise. And he is not there because of Carmelo! If only the Knicks gave him the ball more.. they could not suck so hard.

Btw offensive and defensive ratings are: points scored and points allowed per 100 possessions. Nothing to do with how many points a player scored or how many steals or blocks he did. It's just a stat that shows you something specific and nothing more.

LOL at "he is not there because of Carmelo"

And Noah is not 5th on that list because of Rose (missed half of the season either way).

If I played with Jordan and was 7 feet tall and took 2 shots per game and made 1.5 of them, I might lead the NBA in Orating too.

Joe Johnson. 25 mil contract, 30+ years old, his game is getting worse every year, he scores 17 points per game, he doesn't play defense.

yay for strawman....no one said he was the worst defender on the planet..but it is commonly known that boozer is a terrible defender
You are talking like he is the worst defender.

also, it's not a coincidence boozer didn't have a defensive rating under 102 or so until he started playing with noah
It's not coincidence that when you go in a defensive minded team you are usually getting better in defense.

The Bulls had a regular season defensive rating of 98.9 when Boozer was on the floor. When he was off? 89.7

If all these are true. How the hell he is #2 in points allowed per 100 possessions?

and also, why do so many people think boozer's D sucks? are they all stupid?
Boozer sucks in general. That's why. He has a stupid face. He is pathetic. He has a stupid shooting style. He paints his head and shaves his eyebrows. He is a hard to love guy. He is the guy you always wait to see suck and point it out. Personally I have a problem with his turnovers, with his stupidly missed shots and with his disability to dunk the ball more than with his defense. That's why I would trade him. His rebounding is good, his screens are good, and his defense is OK.
