One of Tbird's final posts at IHN.

I can't stop laughing.

One of my very favorites... hilarious posts and obviously had such a big personality and a big heart. An original.

My condolences to the Bird family and friends. There really are no words.

RIP BIRD

Wow. I am so sorry to read about your grandmother passing Biscuit. You and your family have my sincerest condolences. My grandmother passed away last year so I know how that goes---it's devestating to watch loved ones have their bodies betray them with illness. I am sadly of the opinion that this is an horrendous week for IHNers. A friend of mine's father passed away on Tuesday after years of declining with dementia. Sighs.

I got the email about the page when I was on the ice tonight only to come home and not be able to access it! I am happy to see that it's up and both of you have shared your story with the world. I posted it on my f'book page a well..

The Stu's have made a donation at the Tom Jacobson donation site, but would also like to send flowers from the IHN family.

It said no flowers......

What does everyone think?

I don't know. I'm not sure Tom was a flowery person. I think he might say spend the money on more Honey/Berry Wies or something. It's a great gesture though.

I think just being there would have put a big shit grin on his face.

I posted something in the post on the O's. Thanks Biscuit for breaking me down to tears once again.

Biscuit: yeah feel free to post the link over there

Stu: We said no flowers just because we didn't want EVERYONE sending us flowers, but if only 1 person is sending us flowers I think we can make an exception for you
<

RK: You might be surprised what a flowery guy he was, he had a lot to do with our rose garden in the backyard as well as all the other flowers in the yard.

It was good to hear that some from the Blackhawks organization did something for him before he passed. A very nice gesture.

For those heading to the Tbird homestead after the services if you wanted to bring something we could use appetizer dishes. If you like to drink some special type of beverage out of the norm that as well.

Many of us can start out here for those going and car pool so that we don't fill up the drive way with Hawk fan vehicles.

And of course Jako's weenie <s>...
