Hawks to visit White House on March 11th

You hit the nail on the head there as far as I'm concerned . It has nothing to do with me not liking the potus . The time to do this has long since passed.

I understand the going to the White House as every pro team who wins it visits there. The timing is just shitty. And you can't blame it on the White House they have a little bit tighter schedule with legitimate concerns on their plate, a hockey team coming through is just another on the long list of nonsense they deal with.



Whoever planned this that works for the Hawks should be canned, its stupid as **** right now. What is the other half of the team gonna do? Its gonna look like a basketball team with the amount of people who take the picture as champions. Mindless distraction but I also am very confident it won't hasten our play on the ice at all. They went through a ton of BS last year and turned out alright.

Get a fucking clue! No one is "Crying" over it. There are very legit concerns with doing this right now. While the fucking team is on an AWESOME streak. NO ONE would have had a problem with this if like when the Penguins won it the year before, it was done in September. You know, before the new fucking season started?



The time to do this was when they FUCKING WON THE CUP. Not while they are in the MIDDLE of trying to win it again. This team has ENOUGH fucking distractions, which is one of the reasons for your "mediocre" 50 games.

If you actually understood how the "extra" things these guys were made to do, IE off ice shit, and how it effects their game, you might not just see it as no big deal.

I don't think it is stupid, the word crybaby is hyperbolic to make my point. I ask for the video to be removed because it offended RK. Like I said I was just having some fun at the expense of all of us, because at times we take these things to seriously.



I stand on what I believe, that it does not make any difference and the Hawks will be okay after the visit to the WH. I will not back off of that, just like you will not back off thinking it is stupid. And I would be stupid to concede to your opinion just to get that video removed.



But what I will take back is the crybaby statement, I agree..name calling is not necessary to make a point.



And I also made a huge mistake thinking the verbal jabs were okay, you know kind of like the guys in the locker room giving each other a hard time...but at the end of the day we all have the same goal! So instead of me being arrogant I chose to be hyperbolic and call you a crybaby, do I really think you are a crybaby? The answer is no, it was just my way of driving my point.

It's not important for me to understand the player's view, it is a done deal and I choose not to let such trivial things to upset me. At the end of the day it does not alter my existence nor does it alter my happiness....it is just a game of grown men who I chose to let entertain me.



This is why I tried to apologize for calling you a crybaby...I should not let the play of Hockey by grown men move me to call someone a name. I prefer to have a laugh about it at the end of the day.

I have to agree with Book on this one, but it would have been more appropriate over the summer. I just think if this "ruins" the hawks focus, they are weak. A little fun and games during the day at the WH then back to work. If they cant refocus after that, then they have more problems than that.
