Well hiii
Hardly new, but I wanted to post some love for my favorite "obscure" Cubs after seeing some of the new faces post theirs. Mine is the Cubs' switching hitting single season homerun record holder:
Hi,
I'm Adam Greene. I'm the beat writer for the Cubs Double-A team, the Tennessee Smokies for The Knoxville News Sentinel and the Chicago Cubs Vine Line Magazine. I was invited her from Twitter and would be glad to share any info with you on Smokies farm team throughout the season.
I'd also be happy to link to my game stories and features.
No problem. They're pretty excited how things are going to trickle down through the minor league levels.
Figured I should drop a line on here. I'm not new to the site but haven't used it a whole lot (joined a year ago and up to 10 posts! haha) Ive been too busy with school and work to have much free time, but now that I'm only in school 6 hours this semester, things have cleared up a bit.
I'm Ivy's brother (younger by 1.5 years)
Been a Cubs fan my whole life (89)
I bought a 55 inch lcd so I could watch my favorite current player shred the outfield in its entirety. Thanks Reed Johnson. Love the effort every game. We need more players like you.
Favorite cubs player of all time would have to be Ron Santo. Watching old school replays and seeing the heel click just brings about a certain nostalgia all cubs fans understand.
Favorite Cubs moment would probably be the same as my brothers, with 61 and 62 hrs by Sammy. But probably the most MEMORABLE moment, is the down fall after the Bartman ball. It's stuck in my head like a figgin pop song and just wont get out.
Hope that helps put a personality to the profile.
