You have way too much faith in people.
I have faith in reality....

The NFL is most likely not going to price itself out of business just because

If enough people stop paying for it they will either die or lower costs to attract viewers.

What you think is too expensive might not be the reality for other people.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
These idiots failed (again) to realize how much money they could make if they offered single teams for 99 dollars.

Maybe they should agree to lower their prices so more people can afford to buy these sports packages.
Hell, I can afford to pay it without a problem. I just think it’s priced too high. I get it, they paid a big high price for the rights plus they have to make a profit. But, if that’s the lowest price they are offering, I won’t get it. Maybe it won’t be worth it for them if they realize not too many people will pay for it. Sports bars alone won’t cover the huge price they paid. And having the money to afford it easily doesn’t mean you just spend the money not matter what price tag they put on it.

If the NFL had something more like MLB tv I'd be all over it. I cancelled NBA league pass as it went from okay to unwatchable this year (as did the Bulls). Streams always feel like my computer is about to get a dose of the clap.

I don't have time to watch every game live anyway so NFL+ is still the best option for me. And it's cheap.

Would probably pony up for Sunday Ticket next year if the Bears look like contenders.

Sunday ticket costs $349 annually. If they charged $99 for single teams they would have to sell 3.5 as many subscriptions to make the same amout of revenue. Google/youtube probably has data and algorithems that conclude they'd make less money that way. Otherwise, why not do it?

With all the people who play fantasy football and now all the legalized gambling, fans won’t want to watch just one game. They will want to see them all.

Nope. Which is why the football pirating community will always thrive! Not that i approve of this criminal activity, it MAKES ME SICK!
You have to be careful who you talk to. Some people's definition of a good stream will really make you sick.

You can lead a lions fan to water, but you can't make him not fuck everything in sight.

Honestly we shouldn't have to pay anything extra to watch these games, it's ridiculous. All you're going to do is force a million people to set up "free trials" with our sixth email account. These games should be on accessible networks, for free. WTF.

How do you think they are would pay for a 200 million dollar salary cap on that kind of scratch?

Not to mention regular networks are only available in the us and on a television. NFL is looking for world wide access to their games on all types of devices.

Unfortunately it's expensive but to me sometimes worth it. I got rid of Sunday ticket four years ago and went strictly red zone. I think I might splurge again this year

Fuck the greedy sons of bitches. Stop giving them your money. That $350 will do a lot better in your hands than fucking Viacomm.

They have a million different ways to earn. The main three networks pay for the right to have the games, too. There advertising. There are ticket sales. "The NFL just wrapped up another monster season off the field that will have league revenue top $20 billion. " They're doing just fine. How Sports Teams, Leagues and Owners Make Money "The sources of how sports teams and leagues make their money has not changed much over the past 40 years. Tickets, sponsorships and broadcast rights continue to be the main buckets of revenue, while concessions, parking, merchandise and non-team events fill out the income statement. "

Sports are in a period of huge hyper inflation. Salaries in basketball, football and baseball are going up at an insane rate. Everyone wants a new modern stadium/arena. Ticket prices are exploding. The concession stands are insane. $350 for the whole season of football is like a bargain compared to everything else. But, they are throwing curveballs further into it. If you want to watch the Yankees, you need YES network, Amazon and Apple to cover it.

Nah man, if they don’t make you pay for several streaming services to be able to watch games, they’ll go bankrupt, or something.
