You ain't never lied! My fear was that it was going to be so much worse when I read a rumor online last night about Northwestern Memorial being involved. This news to me is at least a sigh of relief compared to the alternative.

People go in that place and never come out again. Just disappear.

I guess it's damn good then that my motto is, "In Univ. of Chicago Medical Center We Trust" then.

This is the first of any details I have heard about how this actually happened -- Al Cimaglia - "The mishap occurred while Nick Boynton was skating backward and collided with Hossa."

My hatred of all things Boynton is well-documented, but this makes it seem more like Hoss's fault...

Yeah, I think he was there...

Unfortunately he was not. LOL

Hossa looked pretty good walking on Tuesday though. If his shoulder isn't 100% and it was most def the repaired shoulder, then I'm fine with him sitting out until everything is healthy.

Healthy Hossa---Top five player in the NHL

Unhealthy Hossa--Top 25 player in the NHL

I'd like the top 5.

Just heal properly and get back on the ice.

Y'know.. so he can keep collecting checks for the bad contract the Hawks signed him to.

No it was the Shoulder he injured when Stoll decided to body slam him to the ice with no penalty.

The injury with "dumbass" was Hossa's fault by the way.

What's with the talk about sticking foreign objects up ones butt?

Anyways, so is it his shoulder or knee/leg that got injured now?

Didn't say it wasn't....matter of fact I posted farther above that it appeared that it was Hoss's fault. That still doesn't change the fact that Boynton is a dumbass....

Agreed. PERFECT way of describing my boy.

Hope the time off allows a host of nagging injuries to heal up!

This one was lower body (Stoll hit). Last one was upper body(Boynton hit).

I'm not sure either are 100% healthy.
