Hossa's Injury

The term might be questionable, but the caphit is not. Hossa for 5.2 is a bargain no matter how you slice it.

agreed

BH.com now has a link to Comcast's story. Q and Kitchen were not at practice as they are attending the Pat Burns Funeral.

They said it was hossa's leg.

JESUS, MARIAN, AND JOSEPH!!!!!!!!!!! OMFG, does my suffering at the hands of the fickle (and bitchtastic) hockey gods know NO boundaries????

WTFEVER Nick Boynton. Your ass is completely fucking USELESS---in-game and out too. All he's done since coming to Chicago is leave a path of total career destruction in his wake---first Jenn Patterson and now my boy Hossa. Oh, just FFFFFFF UUUUUU Nick Boyton! Oh, I know some may say it was just an accident and it might not even be Nick's "fault" and to that I say, I have no problem sight unseen with blaming this clusterfuckery on him. . .PERIOD. I don't care if Hossa was skating with his head down, talking to his agent on his iPhone, this would still be Boyton's goddamn fault. Because if this were a just hockey world the problem in the first place that Nick Boyton is on the same goddamn sheet of ice as Marian Fucking Hossa wouldn't exist. THAT'S the problem right there.

WTF Boynton???

I was actually ok with Nick, basically cuz you get what you pay for.

But who the **** would have thought a god damb traffic cone could actually injury a player in a collision? Aren't the newer traffic cones supposed to be flexible and lightweight and all that to prevent injury?

and Boynton's timing could not have been more perfect: Just as the team was hitting a nice rhythm.

Well hopefully Hoss isnt' out too long. but if he is, looking on the bright side, that may give time for the upper body injury to heal more, which i think needs it.

On a side note, if Hoss is out, that means Kopey is out too. So Boynton killed two birds with one stone. lovely

Sometimes the truth makes for humor.

If you don't laugh it would make you cry...............

This is right up there with all the fucking morons in the O boards that would cry that the salary cap was going to go down 10%, theres no way the Hawks would keep Toews/Kane and Keith....

Sometimes people just want to be negative about everything they possibly can with hopes of one time to say, "I told you so"....but then they just disappear and try throwing more shit on a wall to see what sticks when wrong.

Well, in seeing that when the Hawks signed him, they knew he would miss the first 2 months of that year having needed surgery - where he played the previous full season and playoffs with the injury. As a Hawk, in a possible 130 games, Hossa has played in 100 - or 77% (he's played in 100 of last 108gms)

So failure there, on your part - and that with a 22 missed games head start in his first year.

And in the previous 9 seasons, he's missed a grand total of 22gms

But, I can see why he'll only play 49gms a year for the next 10 years....or 60%

Time and common sense are both on my side.

SPOT ON!

It's pretty damn disgusting seeing some of the comments being made at Hossa's expense on the various Hawks boards and forums. Eh, it's Chicago sports fandom so I really can't be surprised. Besides all the salient points you made PMX it's like if dumbass fans would just stop for a moment before posting and think about it---has any one NHL player played more goddamn hockey in the past 3 years than Marian "Fucking" Hossa? Ya know, what with playing through 3 consecutive hard-fought SC Final series and an Olympics? It takes it's toll. GMAB, it's called plain bad luck---WTF people, put on your damn "thinking" caps before smack talking.

It seems people have already forgotten Havlat, Hossa is still an Iron man compared to him.

Morin called up today, I assume to replace Hossa's scoring in the lineup, otherwise they would have recalled a less offensive type player.
