you are so bored

I guess I don't understand the point of you asking your tablemates if it is ok to order something, but at the same time also forcing your tablemates to view what you have ordered. Seems a bit too passive-aggressive.

My kids always order the dumbest things...like they want a $9.99 serving of Mac N Cheese. **** that noise.

My nut job kid does not like mac and cheese, but will pick at whatever I order. or polish off a plate of fries

We don't allow our kids to order off of the kids menu at restaurants. Usually just order a handful of apps for them to share. Kids menus are a huge scam.

*The consumption of raw undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish or eggs may increase the risk of food borne illness in some individuals

This from Gibson's menu. Be careful brett05
We already established (even if @brett05 refuses to acknowledge being wrong) that steaks are safe served raw on the inside provided they get a sear on the surface. (unless he is ordering the less expensive, spoiled meat, in which case he gets it "well-done" thinking that it will be safe)

Yeah that or me and the wife would order enough for ourselves to make sure the kids get fed. Do i feel guilty asking for extra plates? O'h hell no

My favorite kids menu item was at Aurelio's...it was described as "Butter Noodles" for $7.99. They boiled some spaghetti and put a square of butter on top of it.
Up in the great more often than not white north by me they have a .50 cent wing and .50 cent large shrimp .
One dollar and the kids are full.

Imagine taking your kids out to a pizza restaurant and ordering that for them.

Only a millennial would complain about fat on a steak, order an Elk steak that he didn't kill himself, and say he'd much rather have a NY Strip.

Some people love ordering a nice Ribeye and chewing on the fat for several hours to try and digest it. I'm not one of those people.

Kids are weird, but if you don't let them make their own choices (be it good or bad) at some point in life, they'll end up being like Brett05.

The best part is that when my kids didn't eat all their "buttered noodles", the waitress asked if I wanted a "to go" box. "Yeah, there is no way I could re-create this fascinating meal at home...please get me that To Go box ASAP!"

Butter noodles is one of only like 5 foods our five year old will eat. Sometimes she gets crazy and adds Parmesan cheese.

Favorite is when they throw a shit fit they aren't taking it home..so we box it up and intentionally just leave it on the table and she forgets about it in 5 minutes.
