Feel free to explain why it's ridiculous that I ask if people mind if I have my steak under cooked.
Because the look can make them queasy. Has happened before.Because you aren't making them eat the steak, so why should you adjust what you would enjoy based on them not liking a rare or blue rare steak?

Who the **** does that?If you’re going to an Applebee’s to drink/watch games, that obviously different from what I was getting at.

Blue is not rare, brett has a chart. It is just blue I guess.Because you aren't making them eat the steak, so why should you adjust what you would enjoy based on them not liking a rare or blue rare steak?
Ok so I have to ask, what is the preferred cut of steak?
In order for me is:
Ribeye
Strip
Tbone/Porterhouse
Sirloin
If I am lighting up the smoker tho I love to go with tri tip. One of the most underrated cuts of beef in my opinion if you know how to cook and slice it.
what the heck kinda steakhouse asks "pink or no pink?"
If u go to a good steakhouse they will bring out your meat still blue (even on the outside) and let u pick the steak you will be eating.I went to this nice restaurant in Fargo last year and paid 50 bux for an Elk steak. Hands down, best steak I've ever eaten. It was incredible.
In terms of different cuts, I know a popular one is Ribeye, but I'd much rather have a NY Strip. Ribeye's are okay if I get to pick them out myself from the store, but if I go to a restaurant and pay 25-30 bux for a Ribeye and half of it ends up being fat, I'm going to be upset. Maybe next time I get a Ribeye from a restaurant, I'll just ask for it well done.
Nice. How did u cook it?There's a grass fed, organic butcher shop just opened last year around the corner from me called Pasture to Plate. The guy there set me up with my first hanger steak. One word: OMG!!
