Why is this hard to understand?

Michigan hardly utilized McCarthy to the level you would think a top prospect would be leaned on, especially in big time moments and big time games.

That means one of three things:

1) The team does just fine without him.

2) Using him more would expose him.

3) The coach underutilized him.

I’ll be real that I don’t definitively know which one is correct. But two of those might not speak too well of McCarthy, and the other one doesn’t speak too well of Harbaugh.

Hey, they won a national title. Awesome. We’re talking about individual prospects now, though.

All hail the next Bears QB, as always, destined to be the best QB ever, until, when, he is traded for a 6th round pick.
LMAO, Bears fans never learn.
Congrats on the first playoff victory since I was born

LMAO. I'm sure he won't be looking to under-utilize Herbert while giving him MHJ
Ok, then he didn’t use McCarthy much because he didn’t need him.

Doesn’t speak too highly of McCarthy, though, if that’s the case.

College and NFL not the same. Hard to accuse Harbaugh of under-utilizing or not needing much from a player who finished top 10 in Heisman voting. I'd say he got exactly what he needed from him.

Ok, that’s fine. I don’t much care either way. Good luck to McCarthy & whoever drafts him 👍

Oh, yes, Chicago was in last last year. It is a pity, then, that Detroit suffered such a humiliating defeat against Chicago.

How is it that in the best season Detroit has had in your entire lifetime, and Detroit was embarrassed against to the team who ended up in last?

Nah, not punching down. More like a really weak slap from a jackass who has yet to connect a point A to a point B.
And the Chiefs last year lost to the Raiders and Bronco's .
And The Lions also beat the Chiefs
So what exactly is your point, dumbass?
There is a reason why the season is 17 games long, of haven't you figured that out yet?

You seem to have forgot that Harbaugh doesn’t entirely believe in the forward pass. McHandoff will have to sit for a couple of years. He’s not a guy that should start right away even if he goes top 5.

My dude, he completed 27 passes during the entire playoffs.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying the guy sucks. Actually, I think he was a good college quarterback. But he was very underutilized, probably because the coach thought having him throw less made them more likely to win.

Your initial reference to 27 passes omitted the qualifier of "completed" which allowed my lizard brain to tilt and go down a tangent, my bad.

I still disagree with what I see as your overall view. Post # 61 above.

I think the answer is #4. ( will post later )

Well, it is nice that your qualified opinion holds more weight than those of actual NFL scouts and Gm's that have him shooting up draft boards into the top 5. These same Gms had JF drop to the 11th pick in a prior draft. Care to make a wager JJ gets picked before #11?

LOL at Bears fans thinking they have a clue when it comes to QB evals. The same fans that thought JF was "The GAWD"

I never said he wouldn’t go top 5. I just bet that he will sit for a year.

Anthony Richardson shot up draft boards last year too based on his skill set. Then he went out and played like shit.

NFL GMs are dumb sometimes I wonder if they even do actual scouting on players outside of the top-100.

Because you get monumental whiffs every year that are ENTIRELY predictable. So it's great you're all excited but the first four months of the NFL off season is where the biggest mistakes are made every year.

Even the indispensable Howie Roseman can't the QB position right.

Well, one thing Bears fans ARE an expert at is monumental whiffs at QB, so I give you that.
Saying Anothy Richardson played like shit is a little premature, I mean he played like 3 1/2 games then got injured.
Do you ever know what you are talking about, Mr "the bears won't trade JF's"?

Who in the **** are you talking about? I've been on the get rid of Justin Fields since game 2 of 2022 when he looked incompetent against the Packers.

Oops, my bad, I retract the last statement, had you and MJY confused.
