I would rather see this slow and steady improvement than the really good and then regression that teams like Houston, Oakland, and Tennessee are seeing.

Is Watson the dude from last year or the turnover machine that he has been this season.

I'm getting tired of hearing this talk about how Watson regressed. Actually Watson is playing better then he was last year, but he is just not as lucky. Last year he was throwing 50/50 balls that his guys were coming down with. This year he is not that lucky. What exactly about Watson do you think has regressed? Besides the end results and stats? Are his pre-snap reads better or worse? Has his ability to read defenses, progressed or regressed? His mechanics don't look any different. This year his completion % is up, his INT% is down but still high. The main difference is his Fantasy points are WAY down. If you look at his TDs in 2018 a lot of them were passes that thrown behind his receivers and he was lucky they caught them. Most of them could of been INTs. Not many of his throws were put in a place that ONLY his receivers had a chance to make the catch. Again, Watson is better this year then last year, but just not as lucky.

He's thrown less than half as many TD's (19 vs 9) and he's fumbled more than twice as many times (7 vs. 3).

He's turned the ball over as many times (9) as he's thrown TD passes. Above all else I want a QB who takes care of the football, something Watson has been among the worst in the league at regardless of whatever excuses can be made.

He's got a whole lot of talent but right now he's facing a lot of the same issues that other talented QBs like Vick have faced in the past: Can he stay healthy? Can he take care of the football? So far the answer to both questions is no.

I watched but wonder exactly what others watched. Still misses wide open receivers and his long ball might be the most inaccurate in the league. I also don’t see the offense moving as effortlessly as you seem to. Maybe when provided a short 10 yard field after a turnover.

Brock Osweiler had good numbers too. Did you think he looked like a good qb? Eli Manning has had relatively good numbers this year but if you have actually seen him play you’d be left wondering why the Giants don’t just move on from him already.

I really don't think you are serious, but lets play like you are and that your right. By your logic literally every QB in the league is at Trubisky's level or lower, because they all miss wide open receivers. The best QBs who ever played only have a few games in their career that they have not made mistakes.

With a guy like Mahomes, you know you’re always in the game. His biggest mistake last night was really scoring that last TD a bit too soon leaving a bit too much time for the Pats to go right through their shit defense again.

Yeah, but he did miss throws. Did you see the first couple sets? He is very inconsistent! Just Garbage!

They're 3-3 and in a tie for first.

Brian Hoyer took to that team to the playoffs, then Tom Savage took them to the playoffs. The Texans have a All-star roster, Watson just doesn't have the magical "it" factor. The Texans with an average QB are a SB contender.

Pretty sure there were plenty here pining for Nathan Peterman and not wasting a 1st on the shitty 1st round QBs.

I'm pretty sure NO ONE wanted Peterman. Some may have said something like, If the Trubisky/Watson go 1/2 to Browns/49ers we should take Garrett and take Peterman in the 4th or something with hopes of trading for Jimmy..

umm, but he did the same thing in college and last year as far as taking care of the football.. SO, No he did not regress he just isn't getting lucky anymore.

Trubisky is top 5 in balls completed 20 yards in the air.
A deceptive thing in which the Bucs game again skews everything. Trubisky only has 7 completions that were thrown 21-30 yards. 5 of those were against the drugged Bucs. He also has only 1 completion over 31 yards, which also came against the drugged Bucs, and zero completions thrown over 41 yards.

80% of Trubisky pass completions have traveled in the range of from behind the line of scrimmage to no farther than 10 yards.

You can’t blame him for having good players, big dummy.

I didn't but you ignored the fact when you said he had to lead them perfectly in order for them to get the YAC. He's not exactly leading receivers on his 90 pass completions that were thrown 10 yards or less. You aren't the sharpest are ya, little guy?

I may not be the sharpest but you’re definitely the dumbest. Show me one example of YAC with out an accurate pass.

It oozes out of my every pore. That's why I expect it from the players on my team.... especially those raking in 141 mil for playing a child's game.

1-10-CHI 35 (6:18) (Shotgun) M.Trubisky pass deep left to T.Gabriel to MIA 18 for 47 yards (T.McTyer). P7

3-9-MIA 29 (3:23) (Shotgun) M.Trubisky pass deep middle to A.Miller for 29 yards, TOUCHDOWN. P20

ummm, you're not paying attention to air yards, just the pass plays taken from a box score.
