Micth Trubisky is the 17th most aggressive QB in the NFL, that is targeted passes with a defender within 1 yard, and still has a completion percentage of 70% and a reasonably low interception rate.
30% of his completions don't even pass the LOS. And not seeing how passing the ball with a defender close by is considered aggressive.

True lets blame him for running a system now.

This started when the inference was made he was making more deep throws than I was giving him credit for. He averages 1.6 completions per game on balls thrown over 20 yards. Averages 3.6 completions on balls thrown over 10 yards.

I'm not even reading your stats anymore. This conversation was over when you started making up shit stats and when proven wrong you nitpicked. Go make another thread about cutler or something.

How many years of Spartan's trolling and drivel do you people need to see to simply ignore him?

Why is anyone hating on Trubs? He's took massive steps the last couple games. I was more impressed with his game against Miami than the one against Tampa. Mostly because Tampa's D is historically terrible. We're starting to see his accuracy and he is able to make plays with his legs. He does a fairly good job protecting the football too. The guy has shown that he can do it, now it's just a matter of consistency. There is no arguing that he is actually progressing.

I think he's regressing making plays with his legs. Slides too early and there was an option he took into open space and he got good yardage but nobody actually tackled him. He tripped over his own feet.

I think he is progressing nicely over the last two games, was good to see him snap out of his early game funk Sunday. Sparty is right about the sliding though, a little to "safe" for my taste.

Houston has a really good football team and they are tied for first in the worst division in football. Watson’s TO are alarming and costing them games. You should try watching a game instead of looking at yardage stats. I said Watson’s not a winner because he turns the ball over too much. He leads the league in TOs and read zone picks. This Can’t happen.

He also already has 2 ACL tears. 1 more and I think he’s done with football. Very few guys come back from 3 ACL tears.

Their offensive line is fucking terrible. Their Rbs are fucking terrible. The only WR that does anything without Watson is Hopkins, because Hopkins is fucking good. The defense is top 10. I have seen enough of them, you're assuming I don't watch because I'm not agreeing with you. Watson holds the ball too long, too often and it leads to fumbles. He makes risky throws that lead to INTs. I'm aware, because I've seen it. I also see how shitty the rest of that offense is and how much they ask him to do.

I get it, you don't like the guy, but you were clearly wrong when you said he was "fizzling out," and you were wrong when you said he isn't a winner. Now you're clearly moving the goalposts to claim his TOs are the reason he's not a winner. There's nothing that has proven what Watson's pro career will turn out to be either way. All your claiming is the same thing I already said, he turns the ball over too much. He also makes plays, which you want to seemingly ignore.

I'd much rather see him slide than watch him get clocked and knocked out for a couple games. He's mostly there to throw the ball. When I'm talking about making plays with his legs, I meant scrambling, not necessarily running for yards.

I understand that sentiment, and I am not expecting him to go head first for every inch, every time. But man, I seen a few were the defender was a good distance away and he could have easily gotten a little more, and maybe draw a flag here and there.

I'd have to say Watson looked a ton better last year than he does now. He was generating offense at will and lighting it up. Seemed more confident too. Playing more scared since the injury, IMO. Maybe he turns it on in the second half of the season but just seems more apprehensive than he did as a rookie before the injury.

Mitch Trubisky is 18th in completed air yards at 5.7.

Drew Brees is 19th at 5.6

I'm not disputing this but what site did you find these stats?

Watch the tape. Missed a lot of wide open receivers with those dimes as you call them. And air yards is a thing so stop being a bitch about it.

I know that and you know that but they didn't know that. I'd just point to the Bucs game that really skewed it overall if, like me, you think the Bucs were at their absolute worst and it was a fluke. Midway Mitch was being a bit deceptive so that's why I pointed it all out.

Well 16 QBs will play against the Bucs D. So, by your trolling logic half the NFL QBs stats will be "skewed". How about the Chief's horrible D? I think you should also should include all the QBs that will face the Chiefs D will have "skewed" stats.

Come to think of it, QBs that play for the Chiefs and the Bucs stats will be "skewed" because their defenses are so terrible they will be forced to throw a lot to keep up.

Since almost every NFL QB stats will be skewed by your logic, I think that it is a fair playing field. You cant keep using the excuse, "but they played against the BUCS" all season long. It's simply a failed argument.

I would 100% want my QB to be a little safe then a little reckless.

It is hard to decide if it worth it......getting a first down vs losing your starting QB for the year.....

Or people have had enough time to study him and he is reverting to the turnover prone QB he was in college.
