you be ever think the majority of the 19 pounds came off me gut? whats the first place real men usually lose or gain weight from? while you may have had double d's to melt.. i probably had A cups to melt before me body focused mo on me gut..

i ain't being ugly. i is just watching the spartan dance around thangs. its semi entertain during me down time. sure, i gained fat over an extended period of time. but prior to that i stayed in shape consistently from childhood to 30 and dropped/gained weight specifically for sport.......why listen to me, a fat guy... well that's a valid point. Even worse though, would be listening to a guy who gains 30+ pounds back every year.

we know youre starving, its okay.. only 16-17 more hours til you can eat again.. youre too moody when your hungry spartan..

see while you lost 18 pounds of titty, i lost 2 pounds of titty and 17 pounds of gut. my lower half has minimal fat to lose and me upper half has probably 80% of it concentrated around me mid section. so when i lose, i drop belly fast.. thats a benefit of building/having muscle..id probably lose gut slower like you if i had zero muscles too. i could possibly see where you may be disillusioned by thangs. its why i recommend building at least a foundation base of muscle. itll help you maintain better this year especially if you is watching your diet. im just trying to help you while u is trying to blindy help me

Just like fighters allow weight gain after their fights, I allow 20 pounds or so after summer. It's not a lot so let's not make it seem like my BMI is going well over the obese level. It's a relatively small controllable amount of weight.

Eating 5 times a day is cultish...and stupid. Like I've said, man was not made to graze like a cow. I can understand why freakish bodybuilders would do it but why would the average person want to or think it was good for them?

I have also commented how small your frequent meals looked when you posted them earlier, wondering why you'd assume I'm starving while you're eating tiny snacks meant for an anorexic girl and calling them meals. Yeah, I'm sure you're being satiated by some grapes as a meal.

IF people can eat more meals cause it's a much smaller window, 6 or 8 hour window on the average and they avoid sugars/fruits to keep the sugar level low. So they are giving their bodies 16 hours or more to recover where as you have no regard for sugar levels nor giving your body the time to regenerate and repair it's cells and hormones in the non-feeding hours cause you eat every 3 or 4 hours. There's no rest for your body from your dependence on food. No time to heal itself. It wants to but you are forbidding it.

grapes as a meal isnt about the grapes themselves.. its about da liquid n da nutrients. nutrient rich foods several times a day... supercharging the body with vits n duh such... true repairing..

technically fighters dont allow for weight gain after fights. generally its weight gained back from going under an unnatural threshold. if youre fighting in a natural class, generally you dont have to empty out, kill muscle and dehydrate to make weight..

it sounds like your allowance to get fat every year is an excuse for failed dieting.. rather than adopting a way of life. more excuses.. exercise some and it wouldnt happen

Aussie what are your workouts like? And how often do you workout? Do you lift or do mostly cardio for fat loss?

Also try cooking with coconut oil if you haven't already.

my real workouts are long (up to 2 plus hrs) and very intensive at times. when on routine.. 5-6 days a week.. sometimes 4 on 1 off. no lifting this time... just anaerobic, aerobic, hiit, calisthenics.. and bands for resistance.. no weights this go round.. various weight routines use to be a staple n mandatory in me past but im not going that route for awhile.. unless i get that healthcare job.. cause the 24 hr gym is right down the street from the place id work at..

when im eating clean i wasnt cooking with much of any oil.. i even sweated/sauteed veg in water.. but i was actually drinking two tablespoons of real evoo in a pea protein shake to add calories and fat for me last meal of the day cause i wasn't hungry. talk about drinking shit.. but it did duh job

Man be hunter by day, feast at night. Even when I was a little Spartan being trained to kill food as well as people, we did not overindulge as Mitchapalooza indicated before. We ate just enough to stay healthy and strong but not so often throughout the day cause that took time away from our training. We also weren't dicks, just not very good at dealing with stupid people.

If I ever failed at dieting, buddy, I'd be... well... like you but I'm not. Unhinged? Who's really coming unhinged? It's Y-O-U. I'm trying to help you. Giving you great stuff and, frankly, I don't feel like you appreciate it.

be sugar in dem fruits, fella. Suga be bad. Make you hungry. Make you fat. Those doing IF correctly stick with meat, healthy fat and veggies. IF peeps eat real meals, unlike your little fruity girly meals. maybe that's why you've become so fragile and jelly, buddy.

pea protien is cheap in aus... it aint about superior it was about adding 20 mo proteins to hit me macros fo duh day in a drank cause i was soooo fulll from all duh food... thats a nice feeling. the one you miss every summer, repressing your hungry hungurs leads you to pigging out when the pigskin drops every fall/// we here for u//

Coconut oil has a lot of positives apparently. Very good for you. I keep forgetting to eat it. It tastes terrible but if you cook it in stuff you dont even notice it.

I am at zero on the emo index. There's that fragile state of mind of yours again. Let me teach ya something. If you allow for something, you aren't failing when you take what you allow. Sounds basic I know, but it's obvious ya need more help with the simple things too.

men would go days without food. I recall something more recently. If I feel like finding the link later, I'll post it but this is about the great depression when many went without food for long periods of time. It was thought, at the time, that would lead to a lower life expectancy but, in fact, turned out these peeps lived longer healthier lives.

Can you stop comparing yourself to the like of Maurice Jones Drew, The Rock and Terry Crews? They have lots of muscle while you just like to pretend you have muscle under 100 pounds of excess fat.

MY daddy Spartan who was a King once told me, "Son, don't be eating little meals like a little *****, it makes you weak in mind and body. Eat a big healthy meal and let your mighty body do its job while you fight, hunt and kick ass." He was a very wise man.

Agree with all that. It's a big thing with IFers. Good benefits especially for weight loss. Per suggestions I've seen from the IF gurus, I got some packets of coconut oil to drink and aid with the IF. Brother, that shit tastes awful. They also highly suggest taking shots of ACV for weight loss. I do it all the time and, brother, it tastes more awful.

Yeah I used to just take a spoonful and roll it in bread and suffer thru the taste of it. Now I cook it in my eggs or oatmeal.

Intermittent Fasting might be better than regular eating. However, as the saying goes.. the best diet is the one that you can stick to. Not everyone can go 16 hours without eating without pigging out when the eating starts and then going over their allotted calories anyway. What helps the people that eat 6 small meals a day is the fact that they know they always have a meal a few hours away. This is really a person to person thing. What works for someone might not work for another.

What works for me is to literally track everything I eat. If I go out to eat, I google the calories in each meal at the restaurant in advance and get something that I can eat that day while still not going over my calories. If it is a restaurant that doesn't give the nutritional info, I order something that has a lean protein, and reasonably healthy carb. Then I google the calories that similar type of meal has at another restaurant. Do I truly need to track my calories from an educational standpoint at this point? Probably not. I have been doing this long enough that I can tell if I am getting enough or too much based on my knowledge of what is in certain foods. However, if I don't track my calories, I lose my compliance and then I might give into temptation later in the day and break my diet. That's why I do it. Works for me.

You have to do what works for you and not someone else. And you have to be honest with yourself. If something is not working, change it up.

Another thing that is really hard for people including myself is the "all or nothing" thinking. Having a bad meal and thinking the rest of the day is ruined and then justing saying **** it and eating whatever. Then thinking the week is ruined and saying **** it and starting over on Monday. I have done this. It seems ridiculous but the mind can make you give in. Always try and learn from these types of mistakes.
