I'm not writing him off after 1 game, but he lost a lot of my confidence after that performance.

Problem is, the issues he's showing seem like the same issues since the day he started the Ravens game under Fox. That concerns me a lot.

Will see what happens over next few weeks. That L isn't all on him by any means, but he has a lot to prove going forward to make believers of the Bears masses.

Exactly this. Im just hoping the lack of live action in the preseason is to blame for some of his performance but I am concerned. Missing open receivers or over throwing them when he does see them is very concerning.

My main concern is his field vision and progressions. Wondering if that isn't in his skill set, which would really be the nail in the coffin for me. For me, it's actually pretty shocking. I knew grasping an NFL offense and lack of experience coming out of college would be an uphill struggle that may not pan out, but it seemed he did well enough in his limited college exposure for some real hope he could progress. Year 3, and having issues with your progressions (yes only game 1 and a few more games will tell the whole truth) is nowhere near what I expected his downfall would be for growing pains he couldn't overcome.

I still believe Trubisky will be a top 10 qb by years end. I believe he will be our qb for 15 more years. I always thought it would take more time to get Mitch up to speed compared to other qbs we could have drafted. I may be alone on my island but I want it made clear that I still 100 pct believe in Trubisky.

So do I, more on the team than Trubs, but I think he will come around just fine.
