Personally, I think Daniels will be a solid QB, however there's 2 things I worry about:
1) I think he's significantly closer to his ceiling than Caleb is right now (recall how much experience JD already has)
2) Daniels is not a thick QB. At some point a hit is going to be far worse than his somewhat minor mid-season rib injury. Can Daniels live long term in the pocket and not run?
People are going to flip this on me and say I'm discrediting Jayden... maybe I am, but I'll start by saying that Daniels is clearly above the rest right now. He's actually performing at a top 10 QB level. Some would argue higher, and I am too lazy to argue that and simply don't care. I am not saying he hasn't been the most impressive rookie or that he doesn't deserve kudos.
That out of the way, Daniels beat 1 playoff team all year before yesterday. That one team was the Eagles
without Hurts. He lost the other 4 games. He even lost to Dallas with Rush. He had the 2nd easiest SOS in football. Even some of the semi good teams he beat... he got great matchups. Like I said, no Hurts... He beat Penix and the Falcons. The Rattler Saints... Daniels had 7 wins against the bottom 10 teams in the league. It's honestly difficult to find a more unimpressive list of opponents. For reference, Caleb had the 2nd hardest SOS. Good on him for taking care of business. Good players do that.
But that said, the book is far from closed when he's asked to compete consistently with the higher end teams. People closing it already are probably doing so cause of other motivations... or the 'woe is me' type of people.
